I am very surprised about the reaction I had watching the finale of 'Six Feet Under' two days ago.

Usually I can focus my emotions and know why I feel the way I do, but the last ten minutes of this awesome series hit something within my head that´s rarely being reached. I won't spoil the ending for you, let's just say the bittersweet finale can kill you regardless of your current mood.

So that's mine. What's your's?

Yes you are.

Didn't even Wall-E get you to cry?

Up.

I mean, it took the movie barely 5 minutes to get me tear-eyed!
That movie got me too...

My mother's 1 and 2 suicide attempt, the others didn't hit me as hard as the first ones did...

I felt sad when the samurai in the Last Samurai were gunned down by the gattling guns. Does that count?

No movie ever made me sad, but family deaths have. That's all that's ever made me emotionally overwhelmed, really.

Oh god same. In the theatre, you could hear that everyone had gone quiet and stopped eating, just trying not to sniffle D;

I am apparently not a human because up didn't make me sad. The only time a movie has ever made me sad was in Futurama: the beast with a billion backs, when Fry says to Bender "I'm sorry Bender. Robots can't go to heaven." I cried.

This. And the film Hunger.

What a brutally beautiful film.
I was sitting through the montage in the beginning telling myself "I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry"

I FAILED!

Sorry to hear it, buddy.

Kinda similar, 4 years ago, my Dad's funeral.

Good thing I saw Wall-E at home.

I broke down during that one.

So sad... Damn you Pixar and your masterpieces!

The ending of Makoto's route in <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.163769>Kanon. I've played several bishoujo games that got me teary-eyed, a few of which even had me sobbing. So far, that's the only game moment that saw me crying myself to sleep like my cat died.

For an opposite example...seeing Riverdance live. Specifically, hearing "<url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLKRtecV-eY>Lament for Cuchulainn." Serious manly tears at that.
