The Last album I bought was The Essential Ozzy Osbourne which I bought back on release in 2003. Yeah I dont buy music albums very often, oh but actually Persona 4 came with a free music CD and I bought that so that might count as a game album combo if so that was the latest.

The last album I acquired was "Blow" by Heather Nova, I bought it by taking the previous owner out to dinner.

The last album I bought with money was "2012" by Serena Matthews

The last album I bought was the instrumental version of "Riding a Black Unicorn Down the Side of an Erupting Volcano While Drinking from a Chalice Filled with the Laughter of Small Children" by Voltaire. It is quite good.

Also, "The Afterman" by Coheed and Cambria will definately be the next one. Kind of off topic, but... SO EXCITED!

If by latest, you mean by release date, then it would have be Assemblage 23's Bruise:

If by latest, you mean literally the last one I bought, then it would have to be the soundtrack to the cartoon movie, Cats Don't Dance:

I don't buy albums, due to a lack of spending money. However, the last album I got (birthday gift) is a four way tie.

Bad For Good: Best of Scorpions (Scorpions)
Greatest Hits (Guns N' Roses)
Queen II (Queen)
Memories of a Beautiful Disaster (James Durbin)

The first three, it goes without saying, were awesome. The fourth was also pretty good. Probably my favourite tracks from it were "Stand Up" and "Outcast", the latter of which had Mick Mars (lead guitarist for Motley Crue) on guitar.

My latest album I bought was THE WHO: QUADROPHENIA DELUXE EDITION. It is all the awesome and soul-stirring beauty that my parents told me it was! At first, the only two songs I recognized were The Real Me and Love Reign O'er Me, but there's so much more! Reading Pete Townsend's notes and lyrics is a major eye opener and it adds to the experience.

it was Toxicity by System of a Down.
but that was sometime last year. I tend to either pirate albums or get them off a friend.
yes pirating albums is illegal and immoral.
but when i find an artist i like i usually buy a fair bit of merch to make up for it, as well as going to concerts etcetera.

Last physical album I bought? Not sure. I couldn't afford them, so I asked for them for my birthday/Christmas. Been so long that I bought one myself that I don't remember what I bought. But recently I did get a CD of Miracle of Sound's, so there's that.

Last album I digitally bought, that's easier to pin down. It was either the Fable 2 or 3 soundtrack last year-ish (then again, I was only able to buy off iTunes because I was given gift cards).

My last two purchases were...

"Collide With the Sky" by Pierce the Veil,

and

"Fight Like A Girl" by Emilie Autumn.

I love them both. "Collide With the Sky" is possibly PtV's best work, with my favorite tracks being "I'm Low On Gas and You Need A Jacket" and "Hold On Till May". And PtV was kind enough to make the two bonus tracks of the album other versions of those songs! How nice!

"F.L.A.G.", while I don't think I like as much as EA's "Opheliac" album, is also very, very good, and may one day overtake "Opheliac". My favorite tracks are "Take The Pill" and "Gaslight", which nearly brings me to tears at time.

Both were very worthy of my money.

"4x4=12" by Deadmau5. Bought it a while ago when I was at Best Buy to get a new media shelf for all my games. Deadmau5 is one of my favourite artists of late, they're just so fun to listen to, so I'm glad I had enough left over after picking out the shelf to finally get one of their albums. My favourite track is definitely "A City In Florida," which some of us might know better as "that one song that plays during Matt Miller's epic boss battle in Saints Row The Third."

Swedish House Mafia: Until One
Got it for 10 bucks from a sale at F.Y.E.
As a longtime fan of Electronic Music (especially house) and having only discovered SHM recently, I love every minute of this disk! :D

Erm... I don't like correcting people but Deadmau5 is one person...
I know this gets kind of gets confusing since he brings in other artists to do some vocals n' stuff (HA! see what i did there?) but on the whole, he is a solo artist, just sayin'.
I agree on the greatness of 4x4=12 100% though! One of my favorite albums right now as a matter of fact!

The last one was the Scott Pilgrim Vs The World Sound Track (I'm not exactly up to date with music). I love the ablum despite only listenning to several of them most the time. It would of been perfect if this was in the album (I think it went to that other Scott Pilgrim Ablum instead)-
