Anyway, definitely sports games.
Not only are they awful, but they're exactly the same as last time.
I can't honestly say I've ever even finished a single game in any sport games.

A lot of the threads on this forum are devoted to the best/worst games of all time that's fine but I was wondering dear escapists what in your opinion is the the laziest game evarr! a game where the design team were clearly on a schedule or had no new ideas whatsoever it can be any game at all, even upcoming releases. In my opinion it's dungeons and dragons by no means is the game bad it's just the fact that the players not only make the mechanics the characters and rules they also write the story I leave it to you fellow escapists
You CLEARLY don't understand what a true roleplaying game is about.

The general consensus on that new Leisure Suit Larry was that it was released just "because". I mean, the game was tossed in the trash by one developer, another came along, dusted it off, and put on the shelf. When you garbage-pick for your new title, you are incredibly lazy.

Also, Terminator Salvation was lazy. There's like, half a dozen enemy types in the whole game. There were more than that in the movie, so it wasn't even a lack of creativity, they were just too lazy to animate some of them.

In fact, most movie games are rushed to release to meet up with Movies and are often half-finished.

It must be FLOw

Honestly you could fall asleep and still win that game!
That's because fl0w isint so much as a game as it is a piece of stress
relieving art.
The game has no score, its not hard, you never die. But I don't exactly see how
the game was lazy in any way, it had a great art style, the creatures (whatever
they are) were unique. I don't think you got the point of this thread. Its about
what game in your option is designed lazly (that's not a word I'm sure of it but
you get my point) as in there is nothing unique about it, not what game bored the crap out of you for not having enough action and being too easy. In my option fl0w is a very
unique game, but i agree with you that its quite simple.

E.T. for NES, it was certainly, crap.
Do you mean ET for Atari 2600.

Doom 2 was pretty lazy. They pretty much just added one new gun and made some new levels. It's completely forgivable though because it was so much better than the first one.

Fable II, It promotes not playing the game by giving you money during the hours you don't play.
That doesn't make it lazy, thats a gameplay mechanic that encourages you to buy real-estate.

Most sports games tend to be pretty lazy, as well as most games on the Wii. Movie games can also hold a high ranking on the list.

The thing about it is, is that you earn the money when you are playing as well, so it doesn't affect whether or not you want to play it.

Doom 3 while being Rather Neato out of Totally Awesome in my opinion (that would translate to 7/10 in yours) really came off to me as being rather lazy. Underneath the fantastic creature design, nice looking levels, and kickass opening/credit song is a game that in retrospect seems to have been put off until the morning of its release and then hastily put together.

I thought Mercenaries 2 was quite a lazy game, since, to me, it felt like the first game, but in a new locale, and that's it. It certainly didn't feel like the developers had put a great deal of effort into making the game new, beyond updating the graphics.

Oh man, the Jaws game for xbox. That could have been so awesome, and it was so, so, bad.

They spent all this time making the shark look good, then rushed out some level design. Like, collecting cardkeys? With a shark? Seriously?

...You're joking right? The whole point of tabletop role-playing games is to make up your own story and interesting characters! Those games would be boring if you HAD to use stories the publisher made and HAD to use characters made by publishers. There's no fun in that.

Anyway, the laziest game I've ever played was probably one of these Wii sims like carnival games. Gimmicks don't make up for gameplay.

Lazy games...

I could be very honest and say...
Portal
*gets horribly accused of witchcraft and blasphemy*

But seriously, its basically a single game mechanic (Portal Gun) that Valve has developed and sprinkled with the fairy dust of Glados and a handful of puzzles and maps.
So is this the first good lazy game?
