I saw Drag Me To Hell a few days ago. Fucking brilliant film. Sam Raimi is so delicious.
I'm gonna check it out on Thursday. Glad to know people thought it was good.
Keep in mind: this is a Sam Raimi film. His horror films are notorious for being ridiculously over the top (see Evil Dead). The film was hilarious...the whole theater was roaring with laughter and yelling at the screen. Classic Sam Raimi.

PRECISELY the reason I want to go see it. I've been a Raimi fan for years, and I miss the ridiculous, over the top stuff.
[sup]Oh happy day!! I can't wait!!!![/sup]

I don't want to give anything away, but let's just say there is a hilarious fight scene using office supplies.

I'm surprised nobody has said it yet, but, Mirrors. I saw this with my parents and we left the theater like "WTF did we just watch?"

Decided to try and necro this thread >.>
After watching The Ring 2 on BBC 1 and having a lot of people tell me "it's scary as fuck!" I'm left here thinking...what the fuck!?
The premise could be scary if done right, maybe, but just now it's just a story about a women and her son that are haunted by this Alma type girlwithout all the cool bits and basically the "horror" of it is just the basic jump out ooga-booga style so it didn't really effect me other than making me laugh.
So what horror movie had no effect on you or just made you laugh :)

Land of the Dead. Zombies with guns aren't scary. Because at that point I kind of just accept the enevitable end.

Let The Right One In. A recent Swedish vampire movie that, while not necessarily 'scary' still managed to be both dark, creepy, and highly entertaining. Kinda like Pan's Labyrinthe I suppose.

Never been scared of a horror movie. Friday the 13th 2009 would be a good example. It's not so scary when you WANT the teens to die horribly.

Yeah same, I can't think of any horror movies I've actually found scary. I remember I had such great fun watching house of wax with my friends an we all cheered when Paris Hilton got a pole through her head =D

I think the least scary horror movie I've ever seen was The Final Destination movies... the only fun in watching them the first time was gettin anxious ... are they goin to die now ... an then them not dying when you think they're going to.

Most scary that I've watched would probabily be Hills Have Eyes 2 but I didn't find it scary when I watched it coz I was at a party and really it was just on to be on in the background. I think if I watched it again on my own it might creep me out a little bit because I'm not to keen on caniballism XD

The Crappening by M. Night Shama-I-can't-pronounce-the-rest-of-it.
Oh noes the trees are attacking! Oh noes! They are making me want to cut myself! OH NOES.
The only way it can ever be classed as a horror movie is if you take in account of how horrifically bad it was >.<

EDIT: I count the Happening as a horror movie because that's what it was billed as; not a "how to" on making painfully bad "suspense" and "drama" using STOCK FOOTAGE OF WIND BLOWING THROUGH GODDAMN TREES! >.<

American Psycho. It was officially funny when...

Christian Bale dropped that chainsaw on the prostitute's head while she was escaping down a stairwell.
