The more I thought about this movie, the harder time I had finding anyway good to say about it. The story is extremely generic; we all know how it ends. Tarzan and his woodland creatures save his damsel in distress from the evil man who rapes and pillages villages for their blood diamonds. If you are expecting anything else then you may have missed a dose of meds in the last couple of hours. The acting seems phoned in by everyone involved. Tarzan I guess is supposed to be deadpan but everyone else looks like they just want to collect their mortgage payment and go home. There is no heart to this film, no flair, no effects, no sleep, no fooooooood...no nothing. George of the Jungle, the 1997 film is a much better movie and by the time this review is posted, I?m sure it will have a better score on Rotten Tomatoes. This movie is just a boring waste of time, so boring that I?ve literally lost the will to finish this review in the middle of typing it. If you want enjoyment go watch a movie called No One's Life is Easy, is it better than Tarzan? Who knows but it can?t be worse.

I was curious.

Then I saw it was directed by David Yates. I hate David Yates. That bastard ruined Harry Potter. I will never watch one of his films again. Go watch the Disney film again and save your time.

Um...how, exactly? Different strokes, different folks, I get that, but while I've never been that enamored with the Harry Potter films regardless of director, Yates directed two of the strongest installments IMO (Phoenix and DH pt. 2)

Funnily enough, I thought those were easily the weakest. I don't expect a film to be a perfect adeptation, but some of his decisions were rather baffling. I don't think he actually understood the story he was bringing to film.

More then that, though, I don't get the impression that he's a good director in his own right.

That movie was not bad. I wouldn't say it was perfect. I quite liked the landscapes, the tribes scenes, and obviously Mr. Tarzan's body..;))))) I'm definitely in love with this man since i watched The Diary of a Teenage Girl ( http://putlockers.video/324-the-diary-of-a-teenage-girl-2015.html ) Yum!

This has been a very disappointing year for mainstream movies. Small indie movies are where it's at this year. I just finished watching The Family Fang starring Nicole Kidman, Jason Bateman, and Christopher Walken. Also, I recommend The Lobster, Swiss Army Man, and I Saw The Light.

I thought Tarzan was a fun movie. If you don't put any thought into the movie at all. It's one of those "Check your brain at the door" kind of movie. I liked Samuel L. Jackson's character. I can't go wrong with my current celebrity crush, Margot Robbie. (I am counting down the days until Suicide Squad is released.)

My mindset coming into the movie that this was the sequel to The Jungle Book. It made the silliness I watched a little more bearable.
