The "Lets Diss A Game" Thread

Almost every FPS of this console generation ever.

I miss my bot and split screen multiplayer support. I also miss my objective based missions with unique and intuitive level design and a single player that lasted more than 6 hours. Examples of good FPS single player that isn't just "Run from point A to point B to point C killing everything" would be the Timesplitters series.

RDR, great game and all, but that god damn asshole puts his fucking gun away every three seconds. What the fuck, asshole, I have a fucking button for that, you're ruining my cinematic moment!

And rolling, why do you have to aim to roll? The whole point of rolling is mobility, and it doesn't make any sense to slow your self down by aiming just to roll. You should just roll if you have your gun out.

God damn it, horse, when I fucking call you, stand next to me, not twenty feet away. I'll shoot you once for every foot I have to walk to get to you, you little equestrian ************.

When I turn on "Expert" aim, that means I don't want any auto-aim, rock star. I hate auto-aim, and even on that setting you practically snap to any target on your screen, which is disorienting. Plus, it's a shitty system anyway, as it has trouble leading targets, which I can't do myself because of fucking auto-snap. Damn it.

Why are people so fucking durable in multiplayer? There should be a way to turn that off...

What happened to all the NPCs in multiplayer? I want to go murder everyone wearing a hat with my friends, but I fucking can't, because they're all inside watching the super bowl, or being abducted by aliens. All I know is that they aren't were I can fucking shoot them.

Why did you take random events out of multiplayer? It would make it less horribly boring.

The GameDogs promotional game "Satan's Retrievers" is as good as Season 1 of the titular series.

By saying this, you're complimenting both Season 1 and "Satan's Retreivers". They are both worse than the other...

Fallout 3 and Oblivion. I hate them with a passion. The two most overrated pieces of shit. And no, I'm not some kind of action junkie who doesn't have the attention span to play and RPG, it's the opposite. Oblivion isn't even an RPG and fucking STALKER feels more like an fallout game then F3, and many more reasons .............

Without a doubt the single most retarded game in history, there is absolutely nothing good about it at all..
And i usually like such games alot, but dang, that was utterly broken in all ways imaginable..

I find myself curious as to how the game was broken in all ways imaginable.

OT: Many of the voices in MGS4 made my ears bleed. Snake, laughing octopus, raging raven, otacon, etc.

I really dislike Final Fantasy. All of them, with a minor exception for 10, but that has more to do with the circumstances of how I played it (with a girlfriend) than the game itself. They're boring, nonsensical kiddy crap. Quests to find underwear? Jokes about old ladies? It's just lame shit.

However, I don't understand all the hate towards Borderlands. I thought it was great fun. My only thought is did people actually play it with friends? Because even with it's sorta broken split screen, having a buddy made it 10 times better.

Silent Hill 2 had horrible translation; case in point: James thinks about the dead butterfly on the bed even though there are several of them.

I don't understand the the reception that Gears of War has received. I didn't try it until a couple of months ago, but I don't see anything to like in it; it's hideously repetitive, the core game mechanic isn't robust enough to carry it, and it's not like the story had me paying for the whole seat but only needing the edge. I got to some level where I'm only allowed to walk in areas where I've already shot a propane tank and gave up. Maybe it's the multiplayer that everyone loves, but that's not what I heard before I tried it and I really don't care about/enjoy multiplayer.

Actually, maybe that's the problem; Gears of War plays like a multiplayer game. It's just the same shit over and over, and there's nobody interesting to share it with.
