The Garbadge level in Shadow of Chernobyl in Lurk 1.1. So extremely hard when a bandit finds out that he can snipe you from a mile away with a shotgun.

In any game when it's the 'maze level' where going thru one door will send you back to the beginning or not to the next logical direction, like going left will make you appear at the top of the next room. Most common in RPGS, Adventure games, and some 3rd person action titles. It's always a forest or a cave and is stupid.

Driving sections in Half life 2. Not only do you control from a first person perspective, but the level design is so horrid and the controls are broken. And they go on for like half an hour!
Pah! they were easy and fun, the controls were fine and I think you and all the other people who complain about it just can't drive :p I love the first person persective, it's what makes half-life so good, that you never get taken out of it.
I mean Gordon doesn't even have a third person model!
Anyway, I don't get why people don't like that sequence... ugh, each to their own.
I'm tired. Is it noticeable? Zzzzzzzzz

Which reminds me suddenly of the Mazerunner in the Selenitic age in Myst. That was definitely my 'That One Level' in Myst.

On a related note- there are heaps categorised here- http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ThatOneLevel?from=Main.ScrappyLevel

The final few levels on any game, where it seems like the designers ran out of creativeness budget and resorted to sticking together a load of corridors.

Half-Life 2 is the one exception to this otherwise infallible rule.

I hated the Shadow Temple in Ocarina of Time. The water temple was fun compared to that one.
the water temple was fun compared to nothing; seriously that temple was just a massive hastle that served no purpose except to irritate the player. Oh actually the only thing the water temple in ocarina of time was fun compared to was the water temple in majora's mask. That shit was just insane.
Oh and I hate snowbound, but everyone hates snowbound
Snowbound is one of my favourite maps of Halo 3, some of my best online memories from Halo 3 were on that map.

The multiplayer map Twin Rocks in Red Dead Redemption. You know that a map is awful when spawning with a sniper rifle and 5 sticks of dynamite still won't make it enjoyable.

I don't understand this. It is in Firs person perspective because it is an FPS. Yes the levels, at times, are pretty bad, but from other driving sections in other games, the levels are good. For me, the controls are good, you can't expect a perfect running car 20 years after the enslavement of the human race, if there was it would be stupid and make no sense.

OT: Ravenholm in Half life 2, I know they tried to implement a horror level into for fun, but I hate fast zombies, a lot. I did enjoy all the traps though, they always make me laugh.

Yes, he does. In both half life 1 and 2. Just use console commands.
No, no he doesn't.
It's a blank black model.
He does have one in Hl1 I think... but none in the others.
(first youtube video I got)

The very last level of Advent Rising (after the credits). I spent over 4 hours trying to beat that boss on hard. Also that level earlier on when you're trying to get through the city on foot (again on hard, I loved it on medium).

Half-Life 2- Sandtrap, It takes too long to traverse the sand pits.

Dawn of War 2 Chaos Rising- second Mission (I don't remember the name of the mission), It's way too easy for the Eldar to slaughter your forces.

Half-Life- Any point that there are sniper that make you use explosives or grenades to kill them.
