By all means, it has a recommendation from me, for what that's worth, lol. It's a fun SRPG. Also has a very dark story, with lots of love and betrayal. Almost like an old English play.
I think I'm starting to like it more and more, haha.

It hasn't been out yet, and I might still get it, but a lot of little things have left me not wanting ME3. Things like the emphasis on Kinect, the inclusion of multiplayer, EAs stupidity lately, and (yes this is petty) the fact that the best weapons are probably gonna be the ones for free in the Collectors Edition.

I'm sure that the actual game will be awesome, I'm just not as excited about as I should be considering how excellent ME2 was. It'll probably be a bargin bin buy 2 years from now. :/

I don't think I can pin down just a few little things, but it is a pretty bad sign to me if every trailer a developer releases contains zero gameplay footage.

Skyrim, because of its fans. Specifically, two groups: those who honestly believe it's a perfect game, and those who spam that unfunny "arrow in the knee" meme on everything.

Forced multi-player achievements. Go to hell the die AC:Brotherhood and Revelations. And also you Bioshock 2.
... Yeah because those are the only games with multiplayer achievements.

OT: Probably QTEs. Like lots of them. .Over. and over.
Sorry I forgot to ad

Call of Duty
Battlefield 3
Castlevania: HoD
Madden
Mortal Kombat
Marvel vs Capcom
Worms
Castle Crashers
Dead Island
Bulletstorm
Portal 2
Resident Evil 5
Dead Rising 2
Red Dead Redemtion
GTA 4

I'd expand more but I also hate walls of text. And spiders seriously fuck spiders.

Demanding use of Origin for the PC Version of Battlefield 3.
Taking out shit out of the game if you don't buy RAGE new, especially since me and my brother use separate hard drives, so one of us would not get that shit even if it was bought new.
Capcom re releasing a game that hasn't even bought out for a full fucking year.
Hearing that I needed to buy Dynasty Warriors 7 on the PS3 if I wanted most of the stuff for Xtreme Legends, also it not being on the 360.
There those are some examples of what made me not want a game.

I have to say some of those I don't agree with. I mean, without multiplayer achievements, they would have nearly no achievements at all.

But then again, I do see what you mean.

I agree with you on most of those.

Like, I know that none of those things will probably ruin the game, but they are all quite discouraging.

I, however, will probably be getting it anyway. >:3

OK let's see. None of these are deal breakers, but a game WILL lose points for them.

*Any setting later than WW2 for a military shooter (Vietnam gets a pass if it stocks up on the appropriate music)
*The lack of a mission select screen in a sandbox game.
*In ANY game: scripted setpieces, QTEs, or a plot-based sudden loss of all your equipment.
*Ironsights
*Unskippable cutscenes
*Forced online service subscriptions to play a game.

Things that pretty much ARE deal breakers:

*The appearance of any kind of magic in any RPG or Medieval game.
*Any multiplayer shooter with a complete disregard for offline multiplayer/instant action against bots.
*Any Star Wars game NOT being set in the Civil War.
*Any flying game where you can only fly jets.
*crippling DRM
*UNPAUSEABLE cutscenes
*A publisher/developer's previously demonstrated complete disregard for their end users.

It has any DRM.
It's a used copy in GameStop.
It's a military shooter.
Ea, Activision or Ubisoft were involved in it's production.
They already have DLC's or will have DLC's that sell power. Single-player game or not it rubs me the wrong way.

The biggest little thing for me has always been lack of weapon variety in shooter games. It's the biggest reason I dislike the bulk of the modern FPS genre. Also, in some cases, RPG elements, because it's like a volatile fun-bomb. If well done, it can make the game way better, but if done wrong it just amounts to poor pacing and inevitable grinding.

Count me down for this. Not looking forward to playing Skyrim. Not planning on getting it. I really wish people would shut up about it. The arrow in the knee jokes aren't funny.

Well, it's not a little thing, it a big thing. The thing is simple too, if I can do it in real life without some form of huge problem stemming from it, I don't want to do it in a game.

Something like realistic sports or racing games for example, zero interest. I do prefer fantasy games over realistic military games too but since I'll never be a soldier I don't mind playing those, things like madden though are just pointless. People should just go and do the sport, it's possible

I have a slightly different view I guess? I'll play it if someone else buy's it for me, personally I'm waiting for it's price to go DOWN DOWN DOWN.

Don't most games on Consoles have DRM? Maybe I'm in the wrong then.

Also just because it's a used copy in gamestop doesn't make it bad, saw Pokemon Black there earlier today, was debating buying it since White makes me feel retarded (White Forest vs Black City, Black City is VASTLY SUPERIOR).

Doesn't you're trinity of EA, Activision, and Ubisoft cut out most games? o_O.

I definitely agree with you on the military shooter though.

Personal opinion: Any game that follows a yearly cycle disgust me period. No, do not crank out a decent practically copy-pasta from previous installments, build a good game.

I dislike games with stories that involve China. Other than C & C Generals (which doesn't take itself seriously at all), other games involving China try to take themselves seriously and portray China in a way that I find ridiculous. It's not just China too.

SPOILER ALERT: Splinter Cell Chaos Theory

This happened again in Chaos Theory, an otherwise great game. A rogue Japanese general arms the DPRK to make an excuse to build an arms-buildup and to revise its constitution?

I used to think Skyrim was a perfect game, then I took an arrow in the knee.

Anyway, art style. I don't know why, but anime art style is just a huge turn-off for me in games. Not saying I won't play a game because of it's art style, but it's already fighting an uphill battle.
