Going to work without any bad weather.

Coming home from work after there's been rotten weather, knowing that a nice shower and clean clothes await, in addition to hot food.

While using the toilet, reaching for the roll of paper and seeing that there's a full and ready roll there.

Expecting to pick up my mug with very little in it and being pleasantly surprised when it's not actually anywhere close to being empty.

Looking up at the sky and seeing a greater than usual amount of stars.

Heading towards the checkout line at the grocery store, and a new lane opens up, seemingly just for me, so I get to be first.

Not tripping while carrying something heavy.

Remembering the name of that one thing that you know you know what it is but you just barely forgot what it was called.

People who smile back when you're just smiling.

Yelling to get the stress out.

Digesting Ribs.

Hill defense.

waking up and realising I dont have to go to work because I left my job I mean sure im pretty poor now but just waking up not being angry that I have to go to work today or in two days or two weeks time is just the best feeling I think I have ever had it is the first time I have been happy for more than a few hours in years so yeah that makes my day(s).

Others include advancing slowly in things I am studying such as playing guitar or learning japanese or c++ every time something clicks it always makes the day seem better.

A smiling friend. Nothing brightens my day more than seeing those close to me happy... except perhaps the smile of the one who is more than a friend. :)

Whenever a nice piece comes on the radio while I'm driving to school. That always makes the day so much better for some reason.

I actually have the PERFECT example for this thread.

Today was supposed to be my day off. Unfortunately, a guy got sick at work today, and I got stuck with filling in for him. It wasn't a particularly stellar day at work today, either.

I should be pissed that my entire day is basically wasted. But, as I type these words, I am watching my Dvd boxset of Superman: the Animated Series. And this just happened:

The DC Animated Universe shows ALWAYS put me in a good mood. This episode in particular is just awesome.

Also, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Because I needed to balance out the uber-manliness of Batman with ponies.

One of my favorite jokes from that show:

Listening to a good song in the morning (Bet you dont know the name of this song note it is NOT Numa Numa http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HR4hp_-kSI&feature=BFa&list=WL23C124E7EBBD9AA8&lf=feedwll) , coming home with no homework, or just getting home knowing i have a RP to get to, or just getting here and seeing the interesting news and stories.

Discovering new awesome music will make my day. The other day I found out Hugh Laurie released a CD. I bought it, fell in love with it, and went happily bopping around all day long! :D

Learning that an assignment that looked nearly impossible to complete on time is actually pretty damn well feasible is always a good one for me. Feeling that little chest gerbil of scurrying, personified panic dissolve into fizzy bubbles of renewed confidence is always awesome.

Oh, and realizing that there's one or two hot gamer girls in a group of Lit Master's students. Paydirt!

My knitting for charity and when my kids get home from school and tell me about their day. They each tell stories, it's awesome! It's never "Oh, this happened, and this is what I did." Oh no. They each have a bright, colorful story to tell. It's like 3 walking/talking graphic novels walk me home 5 days out of the week. It's great.

For me it has to be my daily cup of tea just after I wake up. Nothing quite like it. Oh, and going jogging late at night.

Today I got a job offer (part-time) after being out of work for only two months instead of two years like the last time that I was out of work. That means that I will soon have enough money to be able to finish paying off my Saint's Row the Third pre-order and buy Skyrim soon after its release, if not on the day it gets released, instead of having to choose ether or.

I just left my job too! And, while I worry about money and so forth, not having to get up at 4.40 am for a 6 am start is amazing!

Why did you leave your job, may I ask?

My dogs. They seriously brighten my day. My favorite lets me cuddle him like a teddy bear when I go to bed. Their presence is just calming for me.

When neighbors wave back. I wave *smile and nod* , they wave *smile and nod*. Usually happens in the morning, I'm in a pretty good mood after that for a majority of the day.

When someone puts the little grocery divider down on the conveyor belt for me.

Probably plenty more, I'm sure three will do.

This song. I listen to it as much as possible.

You can't be in a bad mood while listening to this song.

Because I absolutely loathed and detested it I hated the work the product the atmosphere and the people so I decided better to have nothing at all than that so I saved up for a year then left and did a 1000 mile walk across the UK which was interesting.

Oh and unpaid overtime is absolutely shit almost every weekend in the summer really really annoyed me plus the job was affecting my health I was so pissed off all the time I was literally sick on occasions.

So yeah good riddance they have offered me a supervisor position if I go back because apparently I was one of their best workers needless to say I politely told them to swivel on it.

Silence. Waking up to silence, walking in to the silent kitchen and making a cuppa, sit down and just drink it, in silence. Perfect. This is an extreme thing to happen, but when it does, it's so lush.

The little things that make everyday great is little things my 2.5 year old does :)
