The little things you hope will be in the next game in a series?

On the internet, people demand big changes or big things for the next game in the series. Give us multiplayer, kill the multiplayer with fire, make resource gathering fun, make people not look like freaky doll robots, give us zombies, make the story actually make sense, etc. This thread isn't about those.

What I ask instead is this: What are the stupid, little things you hope for? What little background character do you hope to see, what little easter egg you want to reappear, what gun do you want back?

For me, you don't even know how much I want to see the RPD back in MW3's multiplayer. I was so sad that I had to live with the RPK in Black Ops instead. Even if I doesn't have the 2 hit kill if the game doesn't revive Stopping power (for god sake I hope it doesn't) I just want my favorite gun from CoD4 so we can love each other and murder the entire enemy team in loud harmony.

I completely feel you; the RPD is one of my favorite guns from the series. If it does comeback, I hope the bring back the "bro bump" reload animation from CoD 4. I missed it so much.

Maybe a cameo from an character I liked in a previous game. Or the ability to maintain the uber-powers you gained in the game before.

I'm looking forward to Kingdom Hearts dropping it's entire current canon, writing a new sequel to the original, and having challenge.

What about birth by Sleep?!

FAIR challenge.

*A yuri subplot in the next Persona. It can be off in the periphery, as long as it's there somewhere and not just in my imagination.

*The Maiden in Black making an appearance in Dark Souls.

*No annoying QTEs in Bayonetta 2 (also, make a Bayonetta 2). This is a small thing because there were two in the first game. Two. Completely unnecessary.

I want Battlefield 3 to use a magazine-based reloading system instead of the bullet-based system used in all shooters these days.

In Battlefield 2/2142, if you shot a bullet, then re-loaded, you'd lose all bullets that were in the magazine. In every other game, you fire a bullet, reload, you still have all your bullets.

The magazine-based system would help differentiate Battlefield from other shooters, and teach all the reload-happy/spray and pray players to make their shots count, and to not reload after firing one damn bullet.

Although I guess I'd be fine if they kept it, because its fun exploiting people's tendency to reload after firing a few shots.

Fire at them, duck while they fire at you, when they stop, pop up and fire. Nine times out of ten, they're reloading when you pop up. Then don't reload since you still have enough ammo left to kill 3 other players one at a time, and you don't want an enemy to catch you reloading.

Its a small, personal thing really, but I feel it has a large impact on overall gameplay.

Also, health bar. I'd like that to be in Battlefield 3 as well.

I always look for advancement rather than change or backwards moving. Like you, the RPD was one of my favourite and most used guns of all time. Then when Black Ops killed it in favour of the RPK, I was shocked.

OT: I always like to see references to events in previous games. Not story references, I mean things like in Jak 2 when Daxter makes a small little reference to one of the smaller Jak and Daxter characters. Not significant in the slightest, but it made me smile. Just things like that.
