I would buy the entire lottery company, therefore making me rich beyond all possible imagination.

OOOhhh....

I'd buy my sister a house and two new cars for her and her husband. I'd set aside college tuition for her children.

I'd buy my parents a house and two new cars and have them retire. They would never need to work again unless they wanted to. Money wise they would be covered for the rest of their lives.

I'd buy a new house for my wife and I, new cars (something reasonable, not a ferrari or anything silly like that), a loaded Mac and a bunch of camera and audio gear, a Cintiq tablet, tuition to a school that teaches concept art and design techniques. (not a full college I've already done enough of that, I mean something like a www.gnomonschool.com or the likes). I also buy a marimba as I really miss playing.

I'd start a shell company and hire my 10 closest friends to "work" for me for the next 2 years at $100k a year salary each.

I'd start a real company and hire some of my art, music and programing friends so we can develop some great games for computers, consoles and the iPad.

Vacations to Hawaii, Japan, Vegas.

The rest gets saved away for retirement and the ability to just enjoy life without worries.

I'd start taking much better care of my body and become a much more healthier person. Which I want to do anyways.

My one wtf silly purchase: a complete set of every TSR/Wizards D&D book/module/etc ever released and put them in a custom crafted cabinet with glass doors in my game room.

Other than the boring things like a major savings account with huge interest?

A PRS Hollowbody in Black Cherry.

A country house.

A sound proofed room/recording studio.

An Ascari A10.

An entertainment room with Pool, darts etc, a giant TV for gaming/DVDs and a surround sound system for movies and music.

A Russian bride... or maybe Ukrainian... one of the best names of a country - you-crane... you crane what? What are you craning? Your neck?... what was the question again?

OT: Probably a house or two. At least one for my family. Invest some, put more in Term deposits. Go to Europe and bum around for six months. Then I'd satisfy my social conscious by donating a heap and joining the army.

Retire at the grand old age of 21 to devote my life to becoming a mad scientist/super villain/Batman/all of the above.

Build a Apocalypse-proof house, fully stocked bomb shelter and arsenal, and hire contractors to dig a moat around my house filled with sulfuric acid...

I'd really take my family and friends all over the world...

Depends what sort of amount we're talking about. For the sake of the conversation I'll assume your average, every-day big amount. Not 50 grand and not the 250 million dollar "Super Power Ball". Something in the middle. A few million.

I'd quit my job real quick. I would then take the time to go back to school and get a useful degree. I'd want to work again, but I wouldn't feel limited by having to feel myself.

New car. Nothing too fancy, probably a first-generation Acura TSX or maybe even a BMW 135i.

Something nice for mom.

I've won the lottery? Bwaha, goodbye suckers!
Oh wait... that's a theoretical question. Damn... 'twas just a joke, I love you all!

I'd buy a PS3 and like 50 games. But I'll probably do that anyway as soon as this damn school is finally finished. Two more weeks of preparation, gah.

I would buy a Corvette C6 and pimp that ***** out (my reasoning for this is because I think Lambos are too expansive) and get a nice house.

Welcome to the Escapist. I would go out and buy a Reese's Peanut Butter cup...just to become the first person in history to have done so immediately after winning the lottery. Also, they are God's gift to man. Other than that, I don't know, I've become so accustomed to having little money that after receiving my last tax refund I went shopping at the Dollar Store first...sad but true.
