Name: Quintus Glaedwine

Gender: Male
Age: 23
Profession: Merchant
Superhuman Ability: Wendigo Physiology ([link] http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Wendigo_Physiology [/link])

Personality: (Depressed) Quintus may have been granted great power, but it has only made him an outcast. He is faster, stronger, and more alert than anyone he has seen, but beneath his gaunt, starved exterior lie a killer's vicious claws (quite literally as well as figuratively). He has done terrible things, unforgivable things, and it has changed him. Sometimes he wishes only for death, to be free of the hunger and the overwhelming guilt, but something deep within Quint wants to live, and will stop at nothing to survive.

Quintus does not mind the company of others, but most people feel incredibly uncomfortable around him, even if they can't place why. He believes himself to be cursed, chosen at random to wield a hideous power, and bear an incredible burden. As a result of the horrors he has seen and committed Quint's worldviews are decidedly bleak. He has very few friends, and (on the surface at least) very little motivation to remain alive. Quintus likes the cold.

Background: (Hidden) Quintus grew up in a poor, unhappy fishing village like so many others in Reaak. He was raised by an elderly man who claimed to have found him floating face down in the ice-cold river by the village. What Quint did not know was that the man also held power over Illusion magic, a power he used to keep the boy's strange powers hidden from both the boy and everyone in the village. The man was very careful, and kept the Wendigo's power in check for many years.

One day, however, the village was beset by a terrible blizzard. The river had frozen over and the villagers were starving and freezing to death. Quint, who was nearly a man grown, could not bear to watch his friends die, so despite the desperate pleas of the old man (who had grown weak from the cold) he set out into the swirling snow. No sooner had he taken three steps into the cold than everything suddenly became sharper. The ice did not sting him, and he began to feel strong again, stronger than ever before. Like an avalanche, all the thoughts the old man had driven into the back of his head rushed forward with a savage intensity. In that one critical moment, Quintus chose to walk away rather than take vengeance.

Now, nearly ten years later, Quint is nothing but a common grave-robber. He uses his heightened senses to find corpses before they have been picked clean and sells the grim trophies to anyone with the coin.

Additional Information: Unlike a Werewolf, Quintus remains fully conscious and aware of his actions when "the claws come out", though sometimes he may have trouble reigning in his Wendigo powers. Although it may not appear as such when he is in battle or on the hunt, Quint can control his abilities. Due to the nature of his powers (aside from unsheathing claws he maintains a distinctly human form) some are understandably disturbed when he makes a kill.

Height: 5'5"
Build: Sinewy
Hair: Short
Hair Color: Blonde
Land of Origin: The Reaak Kingdom

Please inform me if there is anything wrong with this character.
Two problems, otherwise all good.
1.The only Scions in this era so far are the players, so the old man would not have illusion abilities.
2.I would like you to do an actual physical description of human form.

Well, Sir House linked me, so I might as well make a sheet...

Name: Josslyn Irma
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Profession: Merchant
Superhuman Ability: Environmental Manipulation
While not strictly natural things, Josslyn has only mastered the power up to the point of using it to change simple things in minerals and plants, and even then it's quite hard. She hasn't branched out or trained with it much due to the monks not allowing it, but she still uses it every now and again on rocks to reshape them.
[link]http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Environmental_Manipulation[/link]

Personality (Angry): Josslyn is largely bitter and angry over losing her father at the age of eleven, and has lashed out at people that remind her of her past ever since. She does calm down sometimes, though, and is especially calmed by the natural world and quiet. She's nervous at night, however, and tries to stay indoors. While not a practitioner of any real religions, she enjoys the simplicity and symbols, as well as the idea of peace and prosperity in a land of the religion of the Iyou Mountains.

Background: (Happy, Iyuo Mountains) Josslyn was the daughter of a merchant in the Iyuo Mountains. She never knew her mother, only her father (her father said that it was because she was taken by an evil wizard, but Joslllyn realized later that her mother had simply left soon after her birth), and they moved around the area, going from monastery to monastery and selling simple trade goods and tools to the monks. This filled a niche in the market, as her father like to tell her, and was actually far safer than selling in many other areas of the world. Josslyn enjoyed the travel, but also enjoyed the time spent with her father, as it made her a stronger person. She grew used to the rugged mountains and lack of civilization, and has a love of nature.

One night, three years ago, though, while camping in a mountain pass near the Reaak border, Josslyn's caravan was raided by bandits. Her father and several other men of the caravan fought against them. The bandits quickly killed them, stole anything either useful or worth anything, and left. While the caravan managed to make it's way to a nearby monastery, Josslyn has been an angry and bitter young woman, striking out at anyone who reminds her of her father, the members of the caravan, or the bandits ever since.

The remainder of the caravan, having no clue what to do with Josslyn, left her at the monastery and continued on. While the monks do take care of her, she doesn't participate in the religion actively, instead preferring to brood in her room most days. She did have a small garden that she takes care of, and it's one of the few things that gave her solace and calms her.

It was during a when she was gardening that she discovered her powers. She was working on a rock garden, but couldn't quite get it right. One of the rocks needed to be slightly larger and sharper in order to allow a water feature to go through at a proper speed. After a half hour of trying, she threw a stone at a wall in anger. While it did not break, it instead molded into the exact shape she needed. She tried this on several other things, turning an area where sand and soil met into just one of the two, turning a blue flower red, and rejuvenating a dying plant.

While at first she was joyed by this revelation, Josslyn's power was soon discovered by the monks, who saw her as a descendant of Loae and disallowed her from dirtying herself with the soil and took over her garden, making it far more beautiful, but also impersonal and surgical, where every flower was arranged perfectly. She now mostly spends her time either in her chambers, in the main chamber of the monastery, or in what was formerly her garden, and she occupies her time by reading and taking walks through the garden.

Appearance: Stands five feet six inches tall, has a slim build, long brown hair, brown eyes, and tan skin. She looks in age to be roughly fourteen to seventeen, depending on clothing and care for appearance. She prefers to not wear jewelery, finding it uncomfortable and abrasive. Her face is often at least slightly made-up by the monks, which she dislikes, but puts up with.

Additional Information: Wears largely the robes of the monks she lives with, as they buy few clothes for her that are different from their own. The few she does have are mostly conservative dresses purchased from other traveling merchants. She has one pair of working and traveling clothes, those being the ones she arrived in. They fit poorly, but could still be used if need be.
God damn it, another little girl? Anyone starting to feel like we're in a Strongbad animation? Who's going to be the ugly one?

EDIT: Added an appearance section.

Back from work and finished the character... think I got skipped. Hope he is up to par with the rest of ya.

Name: Odin Midas
Age:27
Profession: Knight
Superhuman Ability: [link] http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Necrotic_Empowerment [/link]
Physical: 6'3" Muscular build
Hair color: Ginger
Hair style: Bald but loves his 5 o'clock shadow
Personality: Cheerful, Always whistling a happy tune, charitable, will sit with the dying and make sure they are comfortable (even with an enemy on occasion). He is also merciless in battle and rarely ever leaves a foe alive.
Background: Survival/Wanderer
Growing up as a frail squire and son to a wandering knight was never easy. Bandits, hunger and cruel mother nature was just the normal day to day life. Death followed where ever they went and with every body that expired in his immediate vicinity the healthier (and stronger) he got. But, it wasn't till he caused his first "murder" (fighting for his life against a highway bandit) did his abilities become longer lasting.
Since then he has been wandering the world masquerading as a paladin. Dealing lethal justice, Fighting righteous wars, providing last rites and comfort for the dieing.
Additional Information: His armor is blackened steel with ivory trim. His shield and long sword has been passed down from one generation to the next. His satchel is filled with the Reaak heavenly pantheon nicknacks. But, his personal beliefs are you need both the abyssal and heavenly pantheon to live a full life.

Name: Aglaea Kaila Southgate
Gender: Female
Age: 10
Height: 5.3
Build: Underweight
hair: Ginger
Occupation: Farmer
Land of origin: Tharblae Marshes
Supernatural abilities:
Literary Manipulation [http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Literary_Manipulation]
This allows Aglaea to consume and retain vast amounts of information from writing. Read writing in any language, decipher any written code. The vast amounts of knowledge she has stored gives her a vastly higher intelligence to most people yet she still retains a childlike outlook. The books also grant her the ability to summon crude copies of objects and small non-complex creatures. Telekinesis is a power she only has over written paper. She can also Transmute books into other things, such as her first book (a simple Tharblae religious text), now a "cat", called "General". However this is also crude and the cat is imperfect and emotionally and intellectually hollow. It is only capable of staying near its master and a creating single imperfect meowing sound. This "cat" can transmute back to its original book form if Aglaea is without one. Aglaea can also use paper as a defensive tool, controlling in the air them to blind or block an enemy, or attempt to cut them though this is not highly damaging

Background (Hidden):
Aglaea Southgate is a being shrouded in enigma and gloom. She does not tell anyone of her dismal origin rather it is written in her glassy dark eyes, the signs of repeatedly healed scars, breakages and bruises. The awkwardly reset bones in her hands or nose shows volumes of information that a book could not, though why she was subjected to such punishment is anyone's guess.

One would not be amiss to imagine that the fault lies within that defined Tharblae face. The Tharblae look down upon knowledge and one so enthralled with the written word such as Aglaea would not thrive in such a place. Her life as a Tharblae is known only to her. Though through the murmuring in her sleep about nightmarish wolves and basic knowledge of working the land one would assume she was but a poor farmers girl, where she would've been considered a marriage bargaining chip at best, a burden on the family at worst.

Yet there is something more, despite her inhuman need to sate her thirst for knowledge there is a small glint in her sullen eyes, a flare of grief, regret at learning something she surprisingly wished she hadn't. Though what it was is anyone's guess it probably led to her fleeing the inner lands of Tharblae.

When she first acquired her powers not even Aglaea knows. Just being able to read and write when of Tharblae peasant stock (and a small girl no less) is a supernatural feat in itself. She fled Tharblae with her cat "general" to live on border of Tharblae and Reaak, living in a squalid cave where she compiles book on all subjects creating something she calls "Home". Gathering what she needs to survive in the brush. She also works as a courier for the Reaak towns reading the messages through the paper through touch alone, never breaking the wax. In this way she comes into contact with highly sensitive information but never uses it, she simply wants to know. This job also earns her coin to pay for her lust for information.

Personality (pessimistic): Due to the way her background and life has panned out thus far Aglaea is a extremely pessimistic character. She has developed a great sense of forlorn, the glass is always half empty and will probably be drank by someone else. She is not confident in here own skills or the skills of others yet can be quite arrogant when it comes to academic fields. Anything bad will probably follow after something even worse in her mind causing paranoia. She has also developed an emotional attachment to her "cat" and is quite insular, rebuking most attempts of people to connect with her.

okay done, sleeps now.
ugh, forgot appearance, i'll do that when i wake up, sleep first...

I hope thats enough because I'm having a hard time thinking of more.
You're on the edge here. I'm sorry to say but you'll have to squeeze a bit more out of your imagination. You should try to expanding the sheet with another paragraph. Probably at background or providing more detailed appearance.

Also I'm going to have to nitpick a few spelling errors: tommorow -> tomorrow, especialy -> especially, Luckly -> Luckily, deciced -> decided, Apearence -> Appearance. It's minor thing, but having no errors is course preferable. Use a spellchecker with your browser, it does wonders.

Could use a bit of expanding as well. You've got some good text where it matters, such as additional information but overall it's a bit too short. You should try adding a bit more to either background or personality. Other than that the sheet looks ok.

You should explain a bit more about how exactly transmuted beings such as the cat work. The character sheet is very decent overall. It sure has enough meat to it now.

It has been brought to my attention that I've caused a cock up: I forgot to add Appearance section to the sheet. I would like it if you added this sections and filled it in. Also only five players/sheets will be accepted into the RP (Not including myself and Voukras), and we will be selecting those by quality, rather than "First come, First served" basis.

I have a question about my power: http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Wendigo_Physiology (sorry, don't know how to link the other way). If I were to use my Possession ability, would that be a permanent or a temporary transfer (i.e. would my previous body die)?

I'm gonna say that possession is off your table of abilities, or if you use it it's a permanent transfer.

Name: Odin Midas
Age:27
Profession: Knight
Superhuman Ability: Necrotic Empowerment [http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Necrotic_Empowerment]
Appearance:
Odin is about 6'3" with a large muscular frame. His hair is a fiery ginger red but prefers to keep it in a bald state. His scruffy five o' clock shadow and frighting pale skin enhances the pink battle scars that inhabit his whole body. Ghastly [color= lime]emerald [/color] eyes rest in sunken sockets that suggest he survived illness as a child.

Personality:
For those who know him swear he is two different people who inhabit the same body. The cheerful, always whistling a happy tune, charitable, will sit with the dying and make sure they are comfortable (even with an enemy on occasion)one; is the face most people met. Then there is a merciless "Kill them all and let the gods sort them out" cold bastard that takes over on the battlefield. Some claim he becomes battle possessed but he insists that he is just focused.

Background: Survival/Wanderer
Growing up as a sickly frail squire and son to a wandering exiled knight was never easy. Bandits, hunger, wild beasts and cruel mother nature was just the normal day to day life. Death followed where ever they went and with every body that expired in his immediate vicinity the healthier (and stronger) he got. But, it wasn't till he killed someone by his own hands did his abilities become longer lasting.
That day was the same day he met his mother; The bandit queen Hel Savhild. And, killed his own father; who jumped in the way of Odin's blade to protect her. Odin blamed his mother for his abilities and the blood of his father that he has spilled. He thinks that is also the day his heart turned black hungering for death.
Since then he has been wandering the world masquerading as a paladin. Hunting down and dealing lethal justice to ne'er-do-wells of society. Providing priestly last rites and comfort for the dieing. Fighting in grand skirmishes that have little to do with him except his need of death.

Additional Information:
His armor is blackened steel with ivory trim. His shield and long sword has been passed down from one generation to the next. His satchel is filled with the Reaak heavenly pantheon nicknacks. But, his personal beliefs are you need both the abyssal and heavenly pantheon to live a full life.

Is it too late to sign up? I find this concept interesting and would like to join ^^

Name: Sebastian Stainthorpe

Gender: Male

Age: 21

Appearance: Sebastian stands at 6'5 with his slim build reinforcing his tall demeanor. His black medium length hair is combed backwards with what seems like grease to make it look stylish. Sebastian's attire consists of formal clothes, though they have seen better days and are clearly dirty and worn out, which makes him appear higher in status than he truly is.

Profession: Thief

Superhuman Ability: [link] http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Head_Liberation [/link]

Personality: Despite his circumstances Sebastian has always had a cheerful, too cheerful perhaps, personality which has often made him appear strange to people. Some would even say his unnatural cheerfulness is due to some form of insanity but Sebastian cares little what people say about him.

Background: Having been abandoned by his parents at birth Sebastian grew up in one of the Reaak Kingdoms orphanages. Life in the orphanage wasn't easy because most of the children was forced to labor for the nobles who supported the orphanage, and their support was hardly anything, so most of the children took to thieving, scamming and begging just to survive and Sebastian was no different. Sebastian quickly discovered he was quite good at thieving, scamming and begging so he was established as leader of the gang of urchins from the orphanage. While everyday in the orphanage was dangerous as the administrator cared little for the children, there were even rumors among the children that the some of the kids who went missing was because the administrators beatings sometimes went out of hand, Sebastian survived the orphanage and the streets which were their 'hunting ground'. He was kicked out of the orphanage when he was 14 and started living on the streets he had only ran through his entire life. Life was rough but due to his talents he managed to survive and even got himself a sort of home in the abandoned roof of a old warehouse which to this day is still his small base of operations, he also managed to steal himself some formal clothes from a tailor which Sebastian wear with pride.

At the age of 19 he had become quite infamous, largely because of running a gang of street urchins, and when he had mistakenly stolen from one of the Reaak family line he was caught and imprisoned until his execution. After some uneventful weeks in prison he was brought before the crowd and placed into a guillotine while the offended nobleperson was overseeing the whole thing with a grin. Sebastian desperately tried to talk his way out of his incoming execution but his words fell on deaf ears and the execution was ready to begin. There were some words engaged, though Sebastian wasn't really listening, before the blade was let loose and fell with great speed upon Sebastian's neck. Sebastian screamed as loud as he could while the crowd was cheering at the death of a thief but the cheering was quickly silenced when they started to notice the decapitated head kept on screaming. Sebastian was as confused as everyone else, his head was lying in a basket yet he could still move his body, which spread fear into the crowd. Quickly gathering his mind he picked up his head and used the confusion to dash away from the scene, the guards too shocked to interfere. He spent some weeks hiding away in his base learning about this power he had and learned he could reattach and detach his head at will. Getting comfortable with his new ability, and the heat surrounding him having lowered, Sebastian strove back into the streets and lived like he had always had though now with the ability to take his head off.

Additional Information:
Somewhat infamous for his scene at the guillotine(Though people only tend to know it is him when he remove his head).
'Leader' of several street urchins.

Hope everything is in order? :D

Name: Lucretius Faustinus; 'The Wolf Knight'
Age: 17
Profession: Knight
Superhuman Ability: Canine Physiology [http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Canine_Physiology] (no mythical canine forms for obvious reasons).
As well as physical enhancements due to his power, Lucretius has been able to strike fear in his enemies by letting out wolfish howls, growls and roars. This ability has saved his life, and the lives of his men, by driving their enemies to flee from the fight.
He has spent most of his life as a human either training to fight or fighting, which has allowed him to become a skilled swordsman and archer.
Personality: Lucretius is filled with incredible anger due to his time spent as a wolf, and directs most of his rage towards the Tharblae. He channels most of his anger in combat, which makes him a ferocious opponent, and can even allow him to enter a kind of berserker-state.
However, he is also honourable and strives to protect the people of the Reaak Kingdom as best he can.
Background: Lucretius was born in a small town in the Reaak Kingdom, near the Tharblae Marshes, which was attacked and burned to the ground by a group of Tharblae soldiers riding through. He fled the town into a forest, where his powers first kicked in.
He stumbled across a pack of wolves and spent the next year of his life with them in the form of a wolf, hunting and fighting with the pack. When the pack came across a small village, he returned to his human form and rejoined civilisation.
After a few months adjusting back into human life, he enlisted in the army to avenge his family and home town, and was eventually knighted for his bravery and skill in battle, taking a silver wolf as his sigil.
Appearance: Lucretius stands at 6'1 and has a muscular build, which makes him imposing in battle. He wears his brown hair long and wild and his teeth are sharper than most humans', giving him a dog-like appearance. He keeps his hair covering his yellow-green eyes when he is unable to cover them with a helmet.
When not in combat, he wears black leather armour emblazoned with his sigil and leather gloves with steel claws on the fingertips. In combat, he uses steel armour with a wolf-head helmet.
Additional Information: Lucretius carries a two-handed claymore on his back, for use in large-scale battles, which has a wolf-head where the cross-guard meets the blade, with the blade coming out of the wolf's mouth, which he carries on his back at all times.
For smaller battles and sudden attacks, he uses a 32" war sword with a howling wolf-head pommel and a black shield bearing his silver wolf sigil or a spear if he is mounted. He carries the war sword at his waist at all times, and keeps a small dagger on the other side of his waist for emergencies.
He rarely carries a bow, except when hunting deer or entering places where fighting with blades and spears puts him at a disadvantage.
When he was knighted, he was granted a small castle, which he decorated with stone wolves, and some of the land near the village he found himself in after his year with the wolves.

I've expanded a bit on the appearance and added the weapons he carries into the sheet.

Name: Katalin Lungile
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Occupation: Guard
Height: 5 foot
build: Overweight
Hair: Medium Length
Hair colour: Blond
Land of origin: The Tharblae Marshes
Personality: (Sarcastic)

Power: Transforms into a black winged beast, but cannot fly. She can however use her wings as extremely powerful weapons, and flapping them can generate a weak gust intended to stun. Her teeth grow into fangs like a sabre tooth tiger extending over her chin while her eyes widen like a bat. Katalin's wings, while not allowing flight do allow for short burts of speed for which she can tear out an enemy's heart with her fangs or her razer sharp claws which grow like a werewolf's. All of this is extremely painful as her guard armour is very restrictive and she has to desperately fight the urge to pass out due to pain upon returning to her human form. While in beast form is constantly hunched over in an almost hunchback like state.

Background: (Survival)Survival is all a part of Tharblae society, and Katalin's story may not be unique. It's in a child's nature to ask questions but living in the marshes questions will get you beaten and bruised. Katalin got even more punishment due to her short stature. Other children would throw stones at her and beat her with sticks while her family would deny her meals constantly. Since her birth her torture went on for eleven years, until a freak monsoon ravaged her home. She could see the mud huts of their old homes falling apart and the water rising in the marsh. Living in the hanging wood houses she was safe from the weather, but not the torture of her family as they beat her mercilessly with clubs and burnt her skin with torches. That was the day her scion power awakened within her. Black wings extruded from her spine while her eyes widened like a bat and her teeth stretched over her chin. Her hands became animal like, huge claws with nails like knives. She appeared as some sort of monster and her mother and father went from torturing their daughter to actively trying to murder her. It failed. While she lost consciousness her beast form destroyed her parents and their house. Her wings broke her mother's bones while her claws tore their way into her father's chest. The hanging house couldn't handle the chaos and it collapsed in on itself, falling down into the marshes below. Howling into the raining sky she fled, her wings allowing a bursts of speed to escape her storm torn village.

After fourteen years Katalin got a job as a guard in one of the larger towns. A childhood full of torture made her cynical and sarcastic, using humour to break people down and treat them like dirt. A loveless childhood full of beatings and denied meals does that to a person, as well as having her develop a rather large appetite and a beastly pain threshold , as any of the other guards will tell you, "That short fat Lungile ***** can sure take a beating".

Okay I got called into work before I could paste my character sheet, and I was too dumb not to save it so I had to rewrite it, sorry if its sloppy or anything not making sense.

Edit: I figured she'd have a a standard Tharblae club and whatever the standard guard armour is, forgive me I'm just really tired.

Sorry, I have another question. I see some people are re-posting their edited character sheets (I just edited mine and left it where it was), and I was wondering if I have to do that as well.

From this point forward new character sheets are no longer accepted. Closed. You may improve your existing ones but that's it. We'll decide which of the sheets are the best and proceed with the RP in a couple of days or so. I wish we could take more people as some sheets are great, but 5 is the established number.
