Consider how much how many people went crazy for Skyrim (well not everyone) I predicting Bethesda is going to win although Mass Effect 3 is out soon which may pull a fast one on us.

Oh boy, it's already March Mayhem time again? Time has gone by so fast.
Anyway, i voted that Valve will win against Bioware in the final. Let's hope that Zynga or Mojang won't screw up my brackets again. It seems like there's always an unexpected studio kicking out the big ones. I wonder who will take that place this year.

Bethesda, the Skyrim love should get it over the line. But I am new to the 'March Mayhem', will From Software (Dark Souls) get a vote?

Whilst under the influence of a cold one i put DICE and Naughty Dog in Round 5. Battlefield 3 and Uncharted 3 are 2 of the best games i have ever played, but there's bound to be some who disagree with that opinion.
I think it was 2 years ago, Zynga advertised the poll on their facebook and got a huge amount of people to visit the Escapist just to vote for it. (I can't remember if they had some kind of promotional sheep or something). But they ended to at least the semi-finals, and screwed everyone's bracket, I don't remember if they beat valve or lost to valve, it's all fuzzy from trying to beat it out of my skull...ResonanceSD said:

That it ended up being more of a bribery, from the viewpoints of the people who are normally on the Escapist. Flocks of people came to vote for the developer and never returned due to the promise of in-game items. And seeing as no other company was doing any sort of practice like this, we were seeing Zynga decimate every single opponent it had by at least a 70%-30% margin due to the advertising.ResonanceSD said:
Yea this time I just did it on who I think SHOULD win. Bathesda lost out to Capcom in the elite 8, but almost lost to Level-5 and Insomniac in prior rounds. Infinity Ward got owned in the 2nd round by TellTale. Epic lost to Double Fine in the sweet 16 (sorry, I do the actual march madness brackets every year too, can't help it). Double Fine was goin strong til it went head-on with the Bioware juggernaut. Valve cruised through some pretty lackluster competition (Naughty Dog notwithstanding, and for its platforming past, not Drake) until Konami pounded them. Sorry, but Game Freak pulled the upset on Nintendo in the sweet 16.

Pretty much this, because Skyrim is a force to be reckoned with on these forums, and I think that Bethesda would have won last year if Skyrim was released back then to "compete" with Minecraft.Yureina said:

It's pretty difficult to imagine A game dev that's objectively better in any real sense. I mean sure, bethsoft is riding high on the back of skyrim but I can't see them winning. Maybe I'm just biased.
I also had obsidian beating bioware in the semifinal but thats probably just wishful thinking on my part.

I don't really see a reason to vote, nor to give any free advertising for the Escapist by voting (twitter) if they are going to ignore the rest of the world.

Actually, in all honesty, I don't know and don't really care...all those PR stunts and stuff...just giv-I mean SELL me good games, that's all I care about.
