The Matrix continues?

So according to Keanu Reeves there is another Matrix movie comming up.

- Says he met the Wachowski's (no emphasis on the word brothers), for lunch over Christmas and stated that they had completed work on a two picture script treatment that would see him return to the world of the matrix as Neo. Says the brothers have met with Jim Cameron to discuss the pro's and con's of 3D and are looking to deliver something which has never been seen again. keanu stated that he still has an obligation to the fans to deliver a movie worthy of the title "The Matrix" and he swears this time that the treatment will truly revolutionise the action genre like the first movie. Wachowski's are working on a movie called "Cloud Atlas" at the moment, once that concludes they will talk again.

Which is kinda funny, as I recall Neo died in the third movie. *Not really a spoiler, everyone should know this by now.*

Hate to be the bearer of bad news....but,We already know about it. [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/107200-Rumor-Wachowskis-Preparing-Two-More-Matrix-Sequels] The search bar is always a useful thing to use.

That said, its a bit silly to revive a series that is over a decade old and ended on a bad note. I got money saying that its gonna be in 3-D and if it is, then I'm gonna guess that it is a cash-in. The Matrix is a movie that is basically designed to pander to 3-D. The Slow-Motion Gun fights, the Kung-Fu fights, the Agents, everything about it seems like it would belong in a 3-D movie.
