To leave a fucking mark so that when you die, people will go: "Hey, remember that asshole who burned down that wal-mart while wearing a chicken suit?" Ahhh, *sniff* it makes my eyes tear up...

I think that the meaning of life is to just have fun with the short amount of time that your fragile human body allows.

Freakin-A. You beat me to it though.

To be honest, I'm wondering the same thing myself. Finally tasted alcohol; not always that great. Have my licenses now; don't feel like driving. Nearing the end of high school; just going to collage, which is just like it. Then you go to work for most of your life, have a family, retire, then die.

At least you have comedy, games, reading, and hopefully sex somewhere in there.

I want to finish my books and then hopefully get them published. Although my books have become so important to me that my life would feel complete even if they never get published or become the worst reviewed books of all time (although I'm not bad enough for that to happen, even if they don't become best-sellers). I also hope to some day find and fall in love with an (older) woman who would love me back. Then, I'd hope that we could some day get married and have children, although I would still be content if neither happened.

I get up, go to school, go to work, come home and keep repeating that until I find the day where everything falls into place. Being in high school makes you want to go crazy, but I've realized that someday I'll find the reason that I've been gettin up at 6:30 every morning. I get up to have fun and just live life as well as I can in hopes that I'll have a long happy (as happy as it can get) life.

Because life is funny (as in entertaining) Sounds simple, but it got me out of my biggest crisis.

Oh, also also: I'm waiting for KKnD 3.
Oooo, I've not heard anything about that, I'll look it up.
I'm probably waiting in vain.
Sorry to get your hopes up. :/
No worries, I'm a big fan of the Kill Krush and Destroy series, it's great!
Haha, I agree.
I still remember winning my first game of KKnD2, I still didn't really know what I was doing.
On Win95 playing as the survivors and my mum was playing Kylie Minogue in the living room. This was yeaaaaaaaaaaars ago though. KKnD3 would be awesome, and probably a big hit with the nostalgic youth.
Heh, embarrasingly enough I've only ever played crossfire but I thought it was AWESOME, ohh yea and I count as one of them nostalgic youths, so I'm right in there really.

cue pseudointellectualism

Protip: noone know why

However, getting up and doing something is preferable to doing nothing.

Getting bogged down in WHY doesn't change what happens.

Roll with it and hope all will be revealed upon your death.

If not, meh you had a laugh.

because (in my opinion) it's all we've got, and I am a firm believer that we can make it into whatever we want it to be provided we're willing to work for that end

I find the drive to do all that I do from the knowledge that I'm making a positive effect on the world around me and that even though 99% of all the people i've helped will never know my name the world is that little bit better for my being in it (i work professionally in the third sector) but that's just me ultimately what that boils down to is;

find what makes you happy and keep on doing it,
don't let anyone sidetrack you because you wont earn enough or aren't meeting your full potential those are people applying their own value systems onto your life.

although I wholeheartedly agree with neuromasser with the statement "because life is funny" remember comedy is nothing more than tragedy + time

and one final piece of advice for staying happy; stand up for what you believe it. Even if you're standing alone. Even if you have no hope of winning. At least if you tried you won't beat yourself up about giving up

This is it, the question...

What's your personal reason for living, not someone else's but yours, why do you wake up because I'm getting to that point in my naive teenage life where I'm beginning to question why and I'm looking for more reason for doing the daily routine.

This isn't me saying I want to commit suicide, I just want there to be more point, enlighten me with your conclusions on this, the biggest of questions.

EDIT: I mean my plan's always been to travel, but I can't as I'm only 15, I'd just like a little more to live for.
Life begins at 18. Everything beforehand is just practice, unless you get a girl preggers.

Anywho, after many years of pondering who and what I was while waiting for something worth defining myself by, I've decided that it all objectively means nothing, but subjectively, everything.

Simplified: You create your own purpose in life. Only you can define what's meaningful to you. The universe simply is, and doesn't have an opinion on your existence. To answer your question directly, I live to take care of those I love. I look through magazines, ads, stores, and see nothing I want to buy that would make me happy, but if I get my aging mom a brand spankin' new GPS for her car(just did), she thinks the world of it. And that makes me happy that I made her happy. I'm going to get rich and give it all away to those who stood by me during my not-so-pleasant childhood/adolescence.

Be happy. Laugh and smile with or without reason. Enjoy the ride. For better or worse, it'll all be over soon. Be financially smart; you'll meet plenty of indebted peers living outside their means as if it is all well. However, don't sacrifice your life for your bankroll.

Take care of yourself.

*fist-bump*

I live because I know Life wants me to give up.
Do you know why? Because Life hates you. Life gets off on your suffering.

It's like fighting the law - you know you'll lose one day, but you'll be damned if you're going to make it easy for them.

So basically, I live to spite life.
Now that's good, more philosophical than it seemed to be at first, I like it.
