I used to, but all the hot girls found out that it was actually Bily-Bob. Oh, how they laughed...
I'm going to assume you meant Billy-Bob. Because if it is Bily-Bob, may I ask how that is pronounced? By lee - Bob?

For Richard.

... I don't like it.
People just connect it to "Dick" right away. That isn't even right ... who the Hell thought that "Richard" could also be "Dick".
You know what? Fuck the person who did this. The name "Dick" sucks anyway! (No offense to any Dicks out there.)

Yeah, I'm giving my child/children a better middle name.

Over here, we don't really have middle initials. Or if we have, I've never encountered it.

But I guess my middle initials would be A.M, which stand for Anna Margareta. A great-grandmother on my mom's side was named Anna, and I guess Margareta must have a similar backstory...

It's funny, though; My middle names were a hair away from getting me into trouble when I was going home from Los Angeles last fall. I have a long and unusual last name, so due to the order the names are placed on American boarding passes (Last name first), my first name had actually gotten cut out off my boarding pass. The lady who checked it glared super hard at me and asked me for the proof of purchase (Or whatever it is called), which I gave to her. She checked it, compared to my passport, glared at me again and said: "It says here that your name is Margaret".

She did double check, though, saw that she was wrong ("Oh wait, that is you...") and sent me on my way. I was super scared that I'd be brought in for something...Then again, I had my family with me, so nothing might've come of it after all...

Mine is G for Gene, it was going to be Eugene, but then my initials would spell MES & my mom didn't like that. Not sure why my parents picked it, but I kinda like it. Apparently it means "well born", works for me.

Only time I ever had any problems with it is when I had to explain to a dumb redneck the difference between "Jean" & "Gene".

Mine's B for Bernard. My mum's maiden name is actually Santiago, but I was given my grandfather's (dad's side) first name instead because it was the case for my dad as well I think. Though my sisters do have Santiago oddly.

Apparently Bernard is literally a combination of "bear" and "hardy or brave".

My middle initial is C for Catherine. It's the name of my great grandmother on my mum's side, so I'm fairly happy with that because I've heard she was a lovely lady. Though for a very long time when I was little I didn't know if it was a "C" or a "K" I'm happy either way, but my initials are C.C.J. I kinda would have liked C.K.J

Well according to my profile my middle name is Bartholemew, but that's just so that I have the name Dom B. Fish.

My actual middle initial is J. for Joseph. I have no idea why my parents chose that name, but they did unintentionally give me the initials D. J. so I like it just the way it is. I probably wouldn't be able to think of anything that I prefer anyway.

A for Aalbertus. Which means nobility.

Very suitable, considering my first name means lord.

Not quite sure what my parents where thinking, I can only assume that upon being born I roared as a lion before inquiring when tea was to be served.

MIddle initial is L. My middle name is Lee. Apparently using it was inspired by Bruce Lee's son, which is alright with me, I guess.
*twitch*

That's exactly what applies to me as well. O__O
My dad was a big fan of Bruce Lee, thankfully, my mom saved me from potential bullying and gave me a more fitting first name.

[small]*Not that there's anything wrong with the name Bruce![/small]

Well, people only tend to know or talk about Bruce Lee and not his son Brandon Lee, so I never really got much conversation (read: just about nothing) noting my middle name or anything. I just think it's a tad bit interesting. I'm not sure how legitimate my dad was being when he said that was the inspiration for my middle name, but he did die the year just before I was born, so maybe? I don't really worry about it at all, though. :p

I actually kinda wish Lee was my first name instead. Simple, clear-cut, and cool-sounding to me. :<

My middle initial is F for Francis. I'm going to assume it's because my Dad's called that, and his Dad 'fore him. I guess I'm Francis the Third, (so suck it bitches!)

I kinda like it, though clearly my middle name should be Herrington, partially because it's classy as all hell, and because it makes me sound like the fat fish that I am.

Mine are R. and S. which stand for Rodrigues e Silva. But I dunno, it could be Really Scary, that would be cool.
I don't dislike it though, sounds nice. The problem is that my parents had no pitty on poor 7 year old me, since on school I had to write my full name: Renato Luiz Rodrigues e Silva Figueiredo. The R e S part comes from my mom's side, Figueiredo from my dad's, they could have made some kind of agreement, couldn't they?

Now my kid is going to have all the three fucking names as well, PLUS my girlfriend surname. (Kidding, I'm not that cruel)

That's always annoyed the crap out of me too. Seriously, who's the asshat(s) who came up with that?

My middle is G for Garrett. I have no problems with this so I have no desire to change it.

H. for Hancock, as my family is distantly related to John Hancock of Declaration of Independence fame. We even had a ton of the family heirlooms before donating them to a museum. I remember taking them to Show and Tell as a kid, and even at 7 years old, I remember seeing the family crest and thinking "wow, I'm going to get so much flak for this". The crest, is the typical shield design, with three cocks (roosters) walking along the top section. This is to indicate the 3 siblings John, and his 2 others. The major portion in the middle of the crest, is a hand. Yep, a big ol' open palmed hand....with 3 cocks above it. Yeah.

As for what it would've been if my parents were better at naming? I dunno, that was the name my parents wanted. I'm glad they picked it honestly, compared to what my grandmother wanted it to be, which was Presley, because she was a huge Elvis fan, and thought having my first and middle names rhyme like that would be just fantastic. Thankfully, my parents didn't listen to her that day.

My middle initial is A for Alexander which I should think is pretty cool because Alexander the Great and all but I can't help but hate it because I spent my childhood having the piss taken out of it. These days if I'm asked I just shorten it to Alex.

Middle initial is G, which stands for George. Wishing it stood for 'Gibraltar'
