<spoiler=Spoiled to save on page loading time>I always find Like Spinning Plates to be hauntingly eerie and beautiful.

It may make me less of a man, but I also find Vanilla Twilight

and of course Tonight Tonight

EDIT
Nutshell is rather beautiful, at least I think

I absolutely love this song, partly for nostalgia reasons, and partly because it's just a damned amazing song.

Half for personal reasons, half because Nina Simone has the most beautiful singing voice that makes me tear up easier than anything else.

Never played, and chances are won't ever, play the wretched game this song comes from. Still, despite that, this gorgeous tune easily makes my most favorite prelude in the series thus far!

This song has the honor of being one of the saddest and most beautiful songs I know. It was a hard decision to cut it to one, because Lea Salonga is so amazing.
Honorable Mentions:

Also from Les Mis, On My Own & I Dreamed A Dream (Both by Lea Salonga)

Nemo, by Nightwish. I miss you Tarja.

Amaranth, also by Nightwish. You're great too, Annette.

Beethoven's Ninth. (Actually, probably the most beautiful song, but there aren't any youtube videos that do it justice.)

Music of the Night, from Phantom of the Opera.

And lots more. But that's enough for now.

Can't forget about this one, either. So majestically beautiful! Always puts me in a good mood. :)

Ayreon's "The First Man on Earth".

Now, even though I've posted another Ayreon song (from the same album [The Universal Migrator Part 1]) in http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.281817-The-Saddest-Song-Youve-Ever-Heard, I'm not what some would consider an Ayreonaut. I just like songs/albums that come together to form a compelling story, even if it is in the Progressive Rock genre. Quite refreshing, considering that many popular songs are mostly directed at teens and are about sex, partying, and/or violence.
