I'm of the understanding that not only is the double rainbow beautiful, but it is also quite mysterious. It has lead to people saying as such, as well as questioning its meaning.

I used to live in Germany. While I was there, my father and I went to a lot of places. My favorite was Rome; where I saw this with my own eyes for the first time:

The School of Athens-Raphael

It's located in the Vatican. I had seen it in textbooks in school my whole life; but when I saw it in person, I actually got a little moist-eyed. I can't explain why, but it was the first time in my life when a piece of art got an emotional response out of me.

Never got why people would stare gobsmacked at a graveyard covered in mist or a colourful sunset. It happens all the time. Why do you care.
Saddest thing i ever heard.

I'm not going to trivialize any depression/personal issues you might be going through, but c'mon man, you sure you're not just making that up so you appear dark and brooding to other people so that they pity you or stay away from you? Ever had a girlfriend/boyfriend? If you have, you selected that person because they appealed to you more than those around them. If you have ANY pictures, posters, photographs, or art on your walls, then you have them there because they speak something to you that they don't say to other people.

In nature? There is a rock bottom creek that runs behind my house and when it snows, it turns into one of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed. It's good looking regularly, but the snow makes it even better. But not in nature, probably my ex-girlfriend. Or, in all seriousness, one of my friend's rears. Every time I see I have to stop and sigh...yeah, I'm pathetic. Don't judge!

Once I was camping in the North of England miles from the nearest city and this one night was perfectly clear. When you looked up you could see literally millions of stars. You could see like a see through veil across one line of the sky. It was a couple of seconds before I realised it was the line of the Milky Way. Beautiful.

If everything looks the same, how do you tell what you mother looks like?
If you like I give you her picture to stare at.
Holy fucking balls that is so fucking witty.
I love it when people intentionally misinterpret my words and take them literally. I am basically shitting myself right now I am laughing so hard.
Fuck I just bust a gut. There is blood everywhere and I am still laughing. I sure hope you're happy.

Depression and personal...? No, jesus, what. It's always been like that. Since I was a kid.
I have never had a girlfriend or boyfriend. I'm an asexual aromantic. And my walls remain completely bare because posters are stupid.

Christ, why do people always assume I'm trying to be a mopey emo git.

I know, it looks ugly, but that's because you haven't witnessed one in motion. 72 tons of steel, uranium and classified composite armor moving at 65 mph and turning on a dime, executing precise and spot on maneuver with more grace than you can possibly imagine. I can only compare it to the most wonderful dance you've ever seen, executed by a marvel of modern engineering.

When i was about 9 and we were up at my families farm we decided to go for a walk - I've never seen so many start on the sky in my whole life.
To top it off it was full moon and summer.

A bag...floating in the wind.

I don't know, there are tons of thing that I find beautiful. I guess seeing my dad sitting up right, alive and well, after having been in a coma for a week was a pretty damn great sight.

This girl who I used to like, but is now like a sister to me. She doesn't believe she is good looking, but any guy who gets with her is a lucky fucker.

Also Scarlett Johansson.

Was in North Wales mountain biking. We were going up this path and we looked over a lake. We looked over it, and the sun reflected off the lake, making it look really clear, I just wanted to swim in it! There were mountains and fields behind it, and the clouds were rolling off the top of the mountain. It was the perfect picture, thank fuck I took a picture of it!

My gf.

Man, I'm scoring points and she doesn't even SEE me doing it.

Falling short of that, I honestly have no idea. I can't think of a thing that would stand out as "most beautiful", sadly. Recently, tho, finally seeing the "Voyage of Life" (by Thomas Cole) series of paintings in the National Gallery was very moving (don't ask me why).

I'll come back and edit this post should I find the pinnacle of beauty.[footnote] I mean, aside from my aforementioned girlfriend, of course.[/footnote] ;)

The clue is in the title. Plain and simple.
Mine would have to be when i was on a school trip to Wales. We climbed to the top of a mountain/hill and i stood on the edge and looked out. The sea was drawing in and since it was summer, everything was in blossom. Basically, it was nature at its best. What is the most beautiful thing you ever saw?
(First person to say boobs is NOT funny or clever(Actually, you probably would be))
Thing: Something I haven't seen yet but would be my credit card debt hit 0$.

Person: My girlfriend.

your avatar perhaps?
... A character from a comedy webcomic.

Yes. Yes it all makes sense now. Emo kids like to laugh.
I should stop doing that before I am overcome with the desire to slice my wrists open and wear jeans for girls.
