I won't say it's the most boring game ever, but it's the only thing I can think of: Bioshock. I had to force myself to get through that game. It was just the same garbage over and over and over again. Andrew Ryan and the Big Daddy fights were the only redeemable qualities, as far as I'm concerned.

I have to totally disagree about Star Ocean. Thats a great game if you're into JRPGs. I'm guessing you're not.
If you read my post I said I played 3 and I said it was much better.

Fable 1, Bioshock or Psychonauts.

Don't kill me.
I completely agree with what you sai... what the? Psychonauts? That game is the complete opposite of boredom! It's like calling madonna good looking, its just not true.

My choice would have to be final fantasy 11, god that game was awful, all you did was stand there and poke worms...

CoD:WaW.

Seriously.

If you're used to shooters that actually involve skill and mobility, believe me, it is boring.

Doom 3. id really spoiled me with all those bland dark corridors. Sometimes I even got to crawl through a vent.

Any of the older Sim Cities whenever you ran out of map to build stuff. Also, GTA IV bored the hell out of me. It really killed the franchise (although San Andreas was already guilty of attempted murder).

Other boring games? There should be more. I'll get back on this one.

*wonders how long until Halo is brought up*

I would have to say Lord of the Rings: Conquest. It was unimaginative, dull, completely lacking in any real battle (there's about 6 people defending Helms Deep and the enemies come up the ladders about 3 at a time) and did nothing that half a dozen other Lord of the Rings games haven't tried and failed to do already.

The original Overlord. Never played the second, but the first sucked, slow paced and frustrating.

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing

sometimes i look at that abomination and thinks to myself: "Why?..."
How can something so amazingly bad be boring? That game is the funniest thing I have every played- I nearly died laughing. Its no abomination, its a gift to show us the way to the true meaning of 'utter utter incompetence'.

OT, Counterstrike, as someone mentioned, is the ultimate example of mindless crap that has no place on my hard drive (that's a lie, I use the sweps for Gmod)

Every. Single. JRPG. I. Have. Ever. Played.
Yet a JRPG Character is your avatar. Interesting.

Most boring game Ive played is Fade to Black. That game is horribly dull.
I was just going to say that his avatar was from FF. Seems kind of hypocritical.

As for the most boring... that would go to Race Driver on the SNES. Or quite possibly Toyoko Extreme Racing 3. Can't even turn going 30 km/h.

The Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion.

Say what you want, I think the game should be re-titled to "The Elder Scrolls IV - Let's Go for A Walk".
