A thread for people to share their most boring experience, whether it be a real-life encounter or a book, film, game - whatever.

I have been to a 'Hand-made brick museum' in the sense of, a museum about hand-made bricks.

When I was younger I saw "The New World" and almost died of boredom. Losing an organ would be more interesting and entertaining in my opinion.

A dance performance I had to go to. 5 hours I sat through to watch the 2 minutes my sister was actually dancing.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
I worked night shift in a clean room environment for awhile, it was a 12 hour shift and since it was at night nothing really happened, production was slower then during the day, now the way pretty much everyone passed the time was to go on the net and look up stuff but you had to bypass the normal log in to get access to unblocked net. The tech guys updated the system and it got rid of the old way of getting in for a few days before the death threats made them change it back so those 2 days were very very boring

A school field trip to a museum. By the end, I felt as though I had turned into a walking corpse.

Close runner ups would have to be vacations. Drifting in and out of sleep during agonizingly long car/plane trips is not fun.

Slam poetry contest at school. It was going pretty well, the poets were actually hitting good marks and were doing a good job and I was enjoying myself. Then there was that guy. Don't act like you don't know who that is. That emo guy who goes up there to grab the attention of everyone in the room by bringing the whole group down. It was so cliche and stupid that I couldn't even laugh at it.

I hate waiting for a train, just stood there waiting... then hearing it's delayed because the rail service are crap.
Standing an hour and half for a gig to start too. Ouch.
