In their defense, Death Note is now a 7 year old show. In an age where it's as easy as going to Crunchyroll to keep up with currently airing anime legally and many more channels that are not so legal to keep up to date, it's not hard to believe they'd be sick of hearing people talk about the same old shows all the time.Dangit2019 said:My school has an Anime/Manga/Otaku club. I've contemplated going, as I started reading a lot of manga this year, but from all the people I know who are in there, I know it will just be "OH MY GOSH I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN (insert obsucure japanese animation here)!" over and over.VanQQisH said:#1. Anime Club. Need I say more? This is the reason I don't talk about anime to people in real life. Because these are the kind of people that represent it.

Sad, it would be really nice to actually talk about the plot of Death Note with somebody, but with high school types, it just devolves into who can out-hipster each other.
EDIT: Also, whoever thought that the lighting was good in 1:28 of that video should never be allowed to touch a camera again.
Seriously, Cowboy Bebop and Eva are good, I know. But damn it, they've been talked to death by now. This is a gaming forum and I've only ever seen one other person know what Sword Art Online is and I've never seen anyone here talk about Accel World. It's always the same twelve or so shows here.
Granted, this is a forum about games but you'd think a few more people might know and talk about the few anime out there that are about games.
End rant.
