WET - I played the demo and was under the illusion that it would be the shit and although I don't agree that it is the most god awful thing on the planet and I still enjoyed it, I am disappointed with the overall product.
I didnt like it iether, after all the hype and my friends going on about it i was fully prepped for an amazing game. I didnt get this. I didnt even get a good game. What i got was a terminally ill guy running through swamp or driving through it in a paper mache car occasionally seeing one of the 6 zebras in africa in the midst of a very mediocre FPS. I was very dissapointed. The only thing that made me happy was that the RPG when fired directly upwards falls back down on you.Shepard said:Far Cry 2. That game failed on every level except graphics, the graphics were amazing.
Same...Multiplayer was great though, I still miss my minigun, planes, tank, chainsaw....okay so it's missing alot but like I said, multiplayer is still fun a bit.Blanemcc said:Grand Theft Auto IV.
I'm being serious. I hated it, and have never been more disappointed in ANY game.
I never played it myself but it seemed to get good reviews, what was wrong with itTheGreenManalishi said:I dunno, Circle of the Moon? It's hard to follow Symphony of the Night, but they did a pretty bad job. Good thing the Sorrow games are awesome.
Same, I wish they had kept with the Red Faction 2 style, FPS, multiplayer bots and stuff like that and actually continue the story from 2 (which I suppose they did but they amde NO references to the second game)wouldyoukindly99 said:Red Faction: Guerilla. I was looking foward to destroying Martian society with style, but the frustrating combat and boring enviroments made me sell it back two days after getting it.
Well compared to todays standards yeah it is pretty bad, but if u had gotten it back then, well you'd might love it (or do you just not like the zelda series?)Onyx Oblivion said:Ocarina of Time. Finally played it two months ago. I was expecting the GREATEST GAME EVER from all the praise people heap on it.
I got a good game, that nostalgia fools people into thinking is perfect.
I love the series. It's odd that my favorite games in the series happen to be the 2D ones, though.Quiet Stranger said:Well compared to todays standards yeah it is pretty bad, but if u had gotten it back then, well you'd might love it (or do you just not like the zelda series?)Onyx Oblivion said:Ocarina of Time. I only finished it last year, because for a long time, I was like you. I saw an old game that, whilst being pretty good, was only good for an old game. However, upon reflection, its status as a masterpiece has become undeniable for me. It is a work of art, and always will be.Onyx Oblivion said:Ocarina of Time. Finally played it two months ago. It's just quite mediocre, and doesn't match the depth of Symphony in any aspect.Quiet Stranger said:I never played it myself but it seemed to get good reviews, what was wrong with itTheGreenManalishi said:I dunno, Circle of the Moon? Hey man, I agree with you, my absolute favorites are A Link to The Past and Link's Awakening, it has been said every Zelda game after Link to the past is all the sameOnyx Oblivion said:I love the series.
