Nope sorry, DA2 was a great game both as a sequel and on it's own merits. Accept it, love it, move on. Period.spartandude said:Cridhe said:Resident Evil 4 was bad enough to deserve mention, that's not fair to the equally craptastic 5.

DA2 was terrible, both compared to DAO and on its own merits
but im going to have to say MW2, i just hate, no HATE! the way the guns feel in that game
I smell me some opinions. Look, it's obvious neither of you will agree, and I haven't played DA2, or the original for that matter. Based on what I've heard, the game went from being a case where you could put your own character into the game to a set one. I'm not saying the rest of the game was bad, just that that right there says Bioware kind of forgot why people liked the first one.Cridhe said:Nope sorry, DA2 was a great game both as a sequel and on it's own merits. The only difference is Hawke had a back-story and a voice, when comparing the silent hero of Origins to DA2.worldruler8 said:I smell me some opinions. (sorry for double post, I just don't want a flame war to start)
Once again, haven't played any of the games. it depends on what people like. I prefer a blank slate, not a set cast. Each to their own, however.Cridhe said:The only difference is Hawke had a back-story and a voice, when comparing the silent hero of Origins to DA2.worldruler8 said:I smell me some opinions. I may be wrong, but I don't think Volition developed ArmageddonMercurySteam said:Red Faction Armageddon. They took one of my favorite sandbox, freedom-filled and revolution rich games and replaced it with a plain, linear, alien shooting-fest with awful use of GeoMod comapred to Guerrilla.
Damn you Volition, Saints Row the Third better make up for it!

I thought they changed the formula a little much. I liked the combat from DAO, also there were so many rich atmospheres that simply werent there for da2. Also the story in DA2 just felt so chopped up.Cridhe said:The only difference is Hawke had a back-story and a voice, when comparing the silent hero of Origins to DA2.worldruler8 said:I smell me some opinions.
