Ok so im sure by now some of you have come into contact with this....thing, there seems to be general consensus that it does have some purpose other than glorified torture porn. Some allegory of Serbian struggles apparently. Anyway I was wondering what people thought of it generally. The plot summary is here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Serbian_Film and do read it if your confused by the amount of outrage this film has generated, just reading it made me feel more violated than watching any saw/hostel movie has done.

I've heard about it, and it doesn't even sound like a good movie.

And the thing is, every movie sounds good on Wikipedia. Every terrible plot twist and poorly acted piece of exposition is described by "and Bob revealed his plan to Steve, that all along he had been pretending to...". Makes you want to see the movie, doesn't it?

Need to see it too tell if it was portrayed in a way that makes it art(a Siberian Clockwork Orange if you will), or a crappy b-movie gone way WAY to far. Not offended by it though, if its doing all that crap to tell a message than its understandable, but will have to see it to have a opinion.

I agree, 100 days of Sodom is probably more fucked up but A Serbian Film sounds atrocious.

Yes, it was a very boring movie though, and if you want something that is truelly discusting, watch Salo: 120 days of Sodom or Caligula. I would not reccomend it though on acount of how bizarre they are.
