Someone told me that the game requires you to kill loads of innocent security guards in the tutorial level...nice. :<

Wow..Sam Lake is totally a Steven King fan isn't he. That's practically the plot of The Dark Side xD.
Actually drake does not kill a single guard in that level. Even the one he drops down a good 100 meters to water can be seen swimming to the shore.

Also yeah sam lake really likes Steven. Though if you ask me Sam is overall a bit better of a writer.
Yes I really liked Max Payne and the original Alan Wake they had some great characters. I think I will get AN soon :)

Name: Adachi

Game: Persona 4

Occupation: Dopey police officer

Known Offenses: Throwing people into the TV world just for the lulz. After the first two murders, he convinces a so-called "messiah" into doing the dirty work of throwing the people into the TVs for him.

Adachi's main goal is to envelope the world in fog and have everyone die from the monsters hidden in the TV.

He would have had it all figured out if it wasn't for those meddling kids!

Name: kefka

Game: final fantasy 6

Known offenses . Succeeding in Destroying the earth for personal gain .

Reason: because he felt like it.
I'll see your Kefka and raise you Kuja from final fantasy 9, a man who's sole reason for existence is to turn people against each other and seeks to control the world and achieve immortality because it is a crime against humanity for the world to exist without him.
Yes, but Kuja looks like a woman. He even wears what looks like a dress. I cannot take him seriously.
I'll add my vote to kefka, because that laugh... its in my nightmares.

Name: Mr.scratch

game: Alan wakes american nightmare.

Occupation: Serial killer urban legend made flesh

Offenses: Kills people and blames it all to Alan Wake (whom he is a double of). Opens rifts in time and space to let shadow murderers into our world. Mind controls women to be sluts. His magnum opus was supposed to be to fool wakes wife into thinking that he is wake and then murdering her.

Also really sexy.

Oh, he makes great trailers.

That actually kinda makes me want to play Alan Wake. Though I never will because I hate survival horror games. XD

And another from me. If you didn't already have a fear of clowns, Kefka is enough to give you one. This guy doesn't much around. He starts off as the Emperors' catspaw, but soon takes over and goes on to become the God of Magic. And that laugh...

Some of my choices have been mentioned, so I'll put in a different one.

Name: Caulder

Game: Advance Wars: Days of Ruin

Occupation: Researcher/Military Contractor

Known Offenses:
- Destroyed factories that could make food for the survivors of the apocalypse
- Created a deadly virus that killed people by making plants grow inside their body and then sprout outwards. Also notable that this virus originally only worked on children.
- Provided weapons to leader of a band of raiders. Killed leader when he failed.
- Collaborated and provided weapons to a would-be dictator and war criminal
- Also offered similar weapons to the other side of the conflict.
- Used a giant flying fortress to bomb a village of survivors after defeating the would-be dictator. His demands were for one of the members of the party. Offered a vaccine for the virus as well as stopping the bombing.
- When a villager hands her over, turns out the vaccine was a fake and killed the villager
- Motivation for getting the party member? No reason at all. He just wanted to see if they'd give her to him.
- Ordered his daughter/clone to crash the flying fortress if the heroes managed to overtake it.
- Murdered his son/clone for betraying him with a slow-acting poison.
- Is revealed he is a clone of the original Caulder. The original conducted experiments on his clones, but eventually they rebelled, and after a conflict, he was the sole survivor.
- The entire game, talks about how this is great for his research, and refers to most of his actions and even his children as experiments

Was defeated when the heroes destroyed his base, The Nest, and he died when it exploded.

Basically imagine GLaDOS. Now give her an army of robots and an apocalyptic wasteland to perform her tests. Now remove almost all the humor and replace it with smugness and sadism. And there you go.

Kratos.

15 counts of Deicide. If you add to that number his half brothers, Titans, and other, it goes up to 25, maybe 30. These are the people that are bothered to be named and it does not include the millions of other beings whose only crime, atleast where he was concerned, was that they got in his way.
See? Now this is evil. He murders millions in God Of War 3 because he's pissed at the gods.
He does it so that humanity can grow free of the oppression and suffering caused by bickering gods who treat the world as their plaything. That's totally noble. And to be fair, those people were in his way.
[/quote]

Nice justification of Kratos rap sheet, but inaccurate. He is not doing it because he wanted humanity to be free of the oppression of the Gods or some nonsense like that. That is nothing more than a side outcome.

Kratos wanted to kill Zeus in GoW 2 and 3. The other gods prevented him from doing that and he offed them. With the exception of Hera, where he casually walked up to her and snapped her neck just because she dared to ridicule s girl that became like his surrogate child, at least in his mind.

My thanks, Mr. Omega. Today, you shall be spared being subjected to my latest FASCINATING experiment...

Name: Dr. Weil
Game: Mega Man Zero Series
Occupation: Roboticist specializing in reviving slain reploids
Known Offenses:
-Igniting a devastating, nearly extermination-level war when his Cyber Elf program went out of control.
-Resurrecting the most deadly Reploid in history to help take control of the world.
-Resurrecting a legendary hero Reploid under his control to help accomplish the same as above.
-Firing a nuclear missile into a major population center to locate the Dark Elf.
-Seizing direct control of all Reploids on Earth but one using the Dark Elf.
-Attempting to destroy the planet's environment with a new army of Reploids.
-Attempting to destroy 'Area Zero', a sanctuary full of humans and reploids with an orbital sattelite laser.

His justifiaction beyond revenge for his banishment from civilization: 'A mere Reploid could never truly understand just how this feels, this wonderful feeling of controlling others!'

Quite the fetish he's got.

Damn it I was going to say him

ok heres one

Name: Barthandelus

Game: Final Fantasy XIII

Occupation: Primarch of the Sanctum/Lord of the Cocoon Fal'Cie

Known Offences:
Put an entirely worlds population in perpetual fear of Pulse and specifically Pulse L'cie. Makes people into L'cie with the only aim to destroy a world. Tries to destroy a world with the only aim to resurrect a god who may or may not be in a good mood with Fal'cie afterwards.

So he's really good at manilupating people and does this to kill everyone.

I want to stick up for Nathan Drake a little bit. I had this conversation with a friend a couple of months ago when he said the same thing.

Yes, Drake does kill a hell of a lot of people, but he only really does it in self defense, most of the time the people he is killing are hired thugs who have been given the simple instruction, stop Drake. So put in this position, what choice does he have, does he let these people kill him first? That would make for a very short game.

In both Uncharted 2 and 3 there areas where people are not shooting at him and they get away without being murdered.

And ok yeah, I can understand your annoyance with him not showing any remorse for killing the people he does kill, but you can explain this away by saying that its just typical action hero bullshit. Does James Bond or John McClane ever show any remorse for blowing away the small army thats trying to kill them? No, its usually a clever one liner and then sex with the girl. I don't see why Nathan Drake gets flack for doing the same thing.

Now, him being the destroyer of lost ancient artifacts I can't defend...
The difference between Bond and McClane however is they're not doing it simply for the money and fame. Bond is a government agent saving the world from some such bad guy of the month. McClane tends to just end up in bad places at the worst times and is completely doing it survival. Drake as far as I've seen dives head first into this kind of stuff because of the pay out at the end. While yes they all tend to follow through without remorse part of their motive is what sets them apart.
