I dont have those and please thing before you post that the person that wrote that does not speak english as hes native language.Wushu Panda said:I think evil is being too dumb and ignorant to see the damn red wriggly lines telling them they made a spelling error.
Errrm...online translators are notoriously error prone. They are useful if you've got little to no knowledge of the language, but not if you have it mostly down, excepting the odd spelling error.Wushu Panda said:Why should I be polite? Your post is in English, so use correct grammar and spelling. Not your native language? Then use a translator, you can only find 15000 free ones online if you even bothered to google.
"thing" is a noun not a verb, you wanted "think"
Because online spell checkers are really good at producing grammatically correct sentences in a different language.Wushu Panda said:Why should I be polite? Good for you.I'm dyslexic and I have better English and grammar skills then half the people on this forum.
Glad you won't be ruling the world then. This is an online forum thread, not a thesis. There are times when one does not need to produce perfect grammar every single time they post. When I rule the world, I'm going to begin by making mandatory grammar tests for EVERYONE. If you do not score high enough, a month of torture by the New Spanish Inquisition. Starting with you.
No, but we should call him out on his use of "then" instead of "than".thaluikhain said:Errrm...online translators are notoriously error prone. They are useful if you've got little to no knowledge of the language, but not if you have it mostly down, excepting the odd spelling error.
And as "thing" is a correctly spelt, but different, word, most spellchecks won't pick that one up either.
The post was clear enough to understand...should we call you out for writing "15000", instead of "15,000"?
Actually you should not. The comma in numbers is not grammar, nor is it necessary. For the most part it is simply a tool to help identify how large the number is and break down for easier reading. For high mathematics and science problems teachers would actually take off points for using the comma. In other countries the period and comma are reversed, such as writing it "15.000,00". So I used a universal writing method, so the number would be clear for all. Because I am just that damn caring.thaluikhain said:Errrm...online translators are notoriously error prone. I think you missed when I wanted to put my name down for evil. You're #2 on my list.
