150 USD for the special edition of Black Ops that came with the RC car. Well worth it to me.

I got that too, I think that it was worth it for all the extras...

But I am a Halo fanboy myself, so I may be a touch bias...

How about we do this backwards, kay? Forget the name of the game, but I remember it has this absolutly massive controller and is about mechs. Was retailing used at Gamestop for around $200.00 and I got it for $17.00 at a garage sale, controller included.
Steel Battalion, I think. It was this controller, right?

Yep, I am pretty sure that is what it looked like. I sold it a while ago for a good sum of cash.

I'm also a Halo fan, but if I could have just waited and saved $70, I would have been able to get a couple games.

as a "long time" (read: i was born in '83 so atari and commadore 64 is as early as i can remember really) gaming nerd, it saddened me to see that no one piped up to say they dished out $80 for the gloriousness that is Earthbound for SNES.

it saddened me so much in fact, that i had to register for an account just to see if mentioning it jogged anyones memories. anybody? come on. please restore my faith in my fellow nerdkind.

It was around 40-45 dlls(sort of cheap but I normally buy games until they are 5 years old, mostly rent and borrow form friends is what I did) for WarCraft III battlechest which I guess it's awesome but I never got to play it cause inside the box there was WoW and it's first expansion WORST purchase EVER!! I don't like WoW I wanted an RTS not an MMO regardless I played it was nothing special left it there, as for why didn't I return the game, well I had just arrived home when I opened it and found out it was the wrong game and back then I lived in Queretaro (pretty damn near the center of Mexico) so going back to Arizona (back when they did not have that retarded law) was not an option.

I believe Rule of Rose cost me £50 from eBay, I badly wanted to play this game and it's banned in England, so I had to order from France. Not sure if it was worth it or not...
