My first ever phone back in the day was a Siemens C12; the screen had two colours (green or black), it was about the size of a brick and a lot harder to break. Seriously, I spent ages testing the limits of its robustness: hurling it at walls, dropping it from heights onto solid rock...I even had a car run over it once, and throughout all this not even the screen cracked, and the casing just had a couple of scratches. Sure, it didn't have a colour screen or a camera or internet, but it could outlive any phone I've seen since
As far as functionality goes, however, I'd have to go with my current phone; BlackBerry Bold. It does *everything*. (The only problem is that it's a bit of a hypochondriac and breaks at the slightest hint of an impact
