didnt drown or flood despite 75% of my state being underwater and filled with snakes crocodiles and sharks. i love living in australia.

Whereabouts are you? I'm on the Gold Coast, luckily it seems to be going around and avoiding us, thank fuck.

Southside in Springwood. I'm safe but my work in the city still has no power so super long weekend. City is a mess. I'm lucky my close friends have all been spared. few work people have their housses underwater though

Today's big item: My student loan residual check (aka "living expenses and books for the semester") got mailed out. Tomorrow I get it in the mail, deposit the check (almost $7,000, but dear gods does it ever disappear quick!) in the bank, and then get my hair cut and do some grocery shopping.
