I have eaten some weird foods, but the weirdest thing I've eaten was this fruit called durian when I went to Vietnam. It was a spiky fruit that tasted awful, and it smelled awful too. So, now I ask, what is the most interesting/weirdest food you've eaten?

Ooohh..durian *hurk*....blech....
In Thailand I had snake blood with some sort of home-distilled 100-proof alcohol, but that's a drink not a food...
Hmmmm.....I do eat a lot of Asian foods...so chicken feet, tripe, etc...but the weirdest food is probably good ol' prairie oysters right here at home...LOL

Chocolate scorpian, no not a chocolate shaped like a scorpian, a great big scorpian boild then dipped in milk chocolate, one of many reasons why India is awsome. tasty freak my friends out though. i've got a picture, i think, of me eating it. if i find it i'll post it here.

Smoked elk heart... *Drool* Or perhaps the mini squids on a spit, about 15 of them, not one taller than 2 cm, with tentacles. Or squid rings. Or lots of raw fish from different nationalities. It depends on who you ask really.

I don't really consider any food really weird, I must admit. Most food has been around for a long time, we've been living of it for ages. Just because it's something different, something not common where I'm from doesn't make it weird, just different, and perhaps intriguing.

I love eating strange and exotic foods just for the experince. But I think the weirdest flavor I've ever had was the various "gross" flavors of jelly beans by jelly belly. They had those harry potter theme ones with flavors like vomit and boogers. They were nasty. I don't know if they still make them.

Rocky mountain oysters were pretty strange too.

I've seen human flavored tofu but didn't eat it... soooo, homemade salt flavored icecream or chocolate covered bacon
