I know the perfect names!

First I have 4 cats named "Alien" "Aliens" "Alien 3" "Alien:Resurrection"

Then I have 2 dogs named "Predator" "Predator 2"

Then I force them to breed and I get "Disappointment" and "Needs to be put down and burned"
How the Hell did you manage to breed dogs and cats?

Actually, don't answer that.

OT: My goldfish was called goldeen.

Yeah...
The real question is: How could AVP and AVPR be so awful?

They are just as much of a crime against nature as my genetic experiments! If not more so!
Well, I suppose you didn't video it and then try to sell it to people.

I hope, at least.

Those movies could have been awesome, I don't know how they managed to get it that wrong.
The first AVP had extremely big plot holes, bad actors, and a PG-13 rating. It was shit. But at least there was like... 1 decent battle? Or at least 1/2 decent battle?

AVPR on the other hand.... Oh god...
Well, I suppose, but it still didn't make up for the rest of the movie.

It looked like it might be good, better than the first at least.

Damn them.

"Hmm, we have a successful sci-fi franchise with a lot of fans... Let's cram in some teenagers in college!"

Seriously, how could those idiotic directors think that was a good idea?

Grrr!

Our first guinea pig was called Una Skunker; later shortened to Una (my little brother named her, he was like 3-4 at the time). After Una died we got a new guinea pig who we named Bungaloo; Bungi for short (there is an explanation for this one too but I won't go into it). Bungi is no longer with us either.

My lizard is named Secret Agent; shortened to just Secret. I was 8 or so when I got her. Funny story, I didn't realize it was a her until this last summer when she laid an egg.

I want to get one of those genetically engineered dogs that glow in the dark and name it Basker. Someone with sufficient power of deduction should be able to work out why.

Fixed the top line for you, it really is a feat of human idiocy that they managed to get it wrong.

My cats were brother and sister from the same litter. When I got them as rescues from the RSPCA they were called.... Catman and Catwoman (/eyeroll). I renamed them Apollo and Artemis - siblings from Greek mythology (in fairness it got shortend to Pollo and Missy).

I miss them =(
My cats were called Apollo and Elixir, high five for our dead cats!.
:(

OT; Generally going for "God" names is the way to go, calling a pet Gundam 3 or Kimi ni Todoke you'll just get funny looks.
When it comes to animals that don't answer to specific names just make something up thats really long, and make guest call your pets with there full name...

Such as a goldfish called "Thurlorg bringer of Mercy!", say it with a booming voice to!

Our cat is called Lucky, not really that great but then again it has an appropriate background (little kitty fell out of a 5th floor window, broke his leg).
My favourite in this thread so far is Cthulhu... damn, I want another cat!

i see that cats are more popular... how odd, i would have thought that the mans best friend would be a popular choice
Hey, you said pets, not our right hand!

[sub]I deeply, deeply apologize for that awful joke, but it had to be done[/sub]
And I thought my alcohol association was bad.

I have a dog named Biscuit. You can't get more awesome when you're named after a tasty food item!

I started kidnapping other peoples unloved cats from a council estate... (they kinda adopted me) and they were hungry.

I named them after fashion designers... not very interesting, but very camp.

My labradoodle is named Crash. Both after Crash Bandicoot and because he runs into shit a lot.

I have a mastiff named Abram because he's huge and roughly the same color as the tanks the US uses these days.
