My cat's named Loki, and yes - she is a trickster. Other names I considered, were I to get a male, were Tennant (after the Tenth Doctor), Cat-thulhu or Chairman Meow. Female kitty names considered were Rose (after Rose Tyler), Alyria (after a goddess in the campaign setting I'm writing).

I know a dog that is named Deeojee.

Read that again.
That's a pretty clever name.

OT: I had a little kitty named Blue because his fur was a bluish-gray color.

i got a cat that was fully grown and didnt have a known name and used to be a coward would never attack a cat that wasnt half its size and would always be hiding in the backgrounds somewhere in the shadows :S so i called her Moghedien, only some of you will get this but i thought it funny.

i used to own a pet duck that was called "camealone"... well, actually in spanish "solovino" (it means the same) because after a night of rainstorm he just kind of appeared in the garden and never left o_O

probably blown away from a farm or something, still, that was the best name we could think about

now, for all the entries i have seen, not one seem particularly clever or that great, all the usuals, and the most unusual sound kind og weird

top choices??

"Deeoji"
and
"Speedbump"

both funny and incredibly descriptive!!

My dog's name is Simba. It's original here in the U.S., I s'pose.

But from where my parents grew up, it was a pretty common name, so I dunno.
