But what mostly stuck with me was once in EVE: My otherwise quite cowardly carebear corp had some bonds with one of the big players down in deepest 0.0 security and we had allowance to freely roam in their territory, use their stations and such... So one day I deceided to make a trip down there. Some systems after I had left the low-to-no security border, still with hands sweating, I noticed - with some relief I have to say - how the local channel had died and I started to be all on my own in the vaste void of Space. A couple of systems later, I had made some safespots here and here, from a safe distance marveled at the huge (npc-)spaceships cruising about in the asteroid belts knowing I could never even put the smallest dent in their hull, I was slowly approaching my destination when suddenly the local lit up.
