You do know that Biran and Yenke scale to Kimahri's stats, right? 'Cause they do.Aris Khandr said:My first run through Final Fantasy X, I never used Kimahri after getting him. The Ronso fight on Gagazet, that was painful. I managed to get by it on about the 20th try thanks to some luck. In truth, I should have been forced to go back to the beginning there. There was no way Kimahri should have managed that fight.
Those fights are always fun. I was the tank back when I played WoW, and there were a couple of paladins who had the incredibly silly habit of DI'ing me at random during boss fights.urprobablyright said:Might have been a WoW fight. There were a good few hilarious errors, but it might have been one of the few times a paladin (never me, always a subordinate) accidentally cast Divine Intervention on the main tank instead of Lay on Hands.
Tank would always end up looking around thinking "Why am I the one DI'd?" then have to un-DI and get smooshed by the boss (unless the fight entailed a long pull, ofc)
Deadbeard's a pain without a solid strategy. Spamming the aura Djinn makes him a cakewalk though. One of my most memorable ones was in The Lost Age against the Serpent. He's normally pretty easy but the first time I went up against him I forgot all about the lights that weaken him. He's recovering a couple thousand health per turn and I'm sitting here going "And I kill this thing HOW?!"BiggyShackleton said:Not really a main boss but Dr Salvador from Resi 4 . Getting chainsaw one-shotted by him was pretty intense. In terms of actual bosses, Deathbeard (?) from Golden Sun took me about a month to beat as he kept smashing the shit out of my party and is the one I remember the most.
