That's not obscure. Everyone knows of Psychonauts.
WHAT?!? I thought I was different...

What would you consider obscure, fine sir/madam?
Try this.

http://www.gamedujour.com/games/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/gubble-hd-2.jpg

It's called "Gubble", and is best version of Pacman to ever exist. Period.

Basically, you avoid enemies while taking the world apart with garage tools with absolutely ADORABLE gibberish and really challenging bonus levels.
That's a Crystal Castles clone, not Pac-man.

OH SNAP

I didn't know about Crystal Castles, so the game reminded me most of Pacman.

Blade of Darkness - I used to be obsessed with that game back when I was 13 or somewhere that age. Other than that.. Yeger? Pretty awful game. I don't think I ever finished it but it's still in my CD rack.

How about 'Super Putty' for SNES or 'Sheep, Dog 'n' Wolf' for Playstation? First sucked ass, second was immense!! I also had Ghosts and Ghouls for Spectrum ZX but have so far failed to locate it this century.

And additions. They could've changed RPG combat forever. Shame it never got much exposure.
The Legend of Dragoon is my second favorite RPG of all time, and since the game sold well enough to earn Greatest Hits status in addition to receiving massive critical praise, I wouldn't call it obscure at all.

On to me, I guess I would have to say... Halo Reach.

BAHAHAHAHAHAH no what I really meant to say was.... Gears of War 3.

BAHAHAHAHAHAH no what I -really- meant to say was, hmm, I dunno, probably a tossup between Brave Fencer Musashi and Mars Matrix. If you can even tell me what SYSTEM the latter is on without google then you have earned my praise.

King's Quest isn't obscure. Now Zork is obscure!

I've also got:
Quackshot
Boogerman
Jurassic Park Sega CD
Phantasy Star
The Cat and the Coup
Most of my Atari 2600 collection?

Oh, how about Pyst? It's a bad parody of myst.
Zork isn't obscure, the second one comes with Black ops so every 9 year old knows about it now. How about Blinx the time sweeper? The XBLA port of the Sega Dreamcast port of the English version of the Japanese arcade game Virtual On: Oratio Tangram also isn't to well know although not really obscure.

Actually own... Probably Armed & Dangerous by Lucas Arts.

However, one of my favorite games is an unknown gem called Hostile Waters. Old game, probably 10 years old by now, but it's still one of the most unique games I ever played. Sort of a RTS/TBS/Vehicular Combat type of gameplay, never saw anything like it. And the writing is still better than most current blockbuster games.

Shadow of Rome is the only game I can think of.

It's a fun game that uses the setting of Rome along with gladiator battles, stealth missions and the murder of Julius Caser as its main plot point. Although none of my friends have heard of it, although it's one of my all time favourite games.
Sounds like fun I'll have to look it up.
The real reason why I'm quoting you is to thank you for telling me to always remember anime law 44. I of course had to look up the laws of anime. I have since read through all of them and would like to thank you for inadvertently informing me of their existence and making my day.

Tombi/Tomba (PSX), my favourite ever platforming/adventure game. It's fantastic.
I absolutely love this game! I had the demo when I was a kid but I'm struggling to get a copy of it now for less than £70.

As far as obscure games go Psybadek is pretty odd, I bought it off ebay for £3 because I played the demo when I was little and wanted it - it's probably the weirdest game I've ever played, I imagine it'd make a lot more sense if you were drunk/stoned ;)

Another one is Legend of Alundra, it's soooo awesome, if not a total Zelda Rip but I'd love to see if any other Escapists have played it ^_^

Big Rigs Over the Road Racing (18 wheels of thunder)

I refuse to play it on my laptop because it will kill it, but yeah, I love that game xD

I also own a load of Indie games on Steam that are rather weird, like VVVVVV.

Either Deadliest Warrior for Xbox or Soldiers: Heroes of WW2 for PC. I'm not sure which of those is more widely known.
