I'm not sure if the following games are obscure-

Gotcha Force (WhatI had read about that game before relase sound like it's my type of game which I was ght).

Super Robot Taisen (In te UK at least. I saw it in Forbidden Planet which the mechs in the box cover interest me so when I got back home I research it and bought it a few days later).

Hotel Dusk and Last Window (From whatI read Hotel Dusk cound interest since I don't play detective game and I saw it in a offer so I bought it. Last Window was the result for my love for that game).

Choplifter (Well ok this below to my brother but he gave it to me).

Phalanx (GBA) (It had a good review and I had been wanting to be a R-Type of game during that time).

Deadliest Warrior on the XBLA. It's a stupid but really fun fighting game between ninja, pirates, spartans and other asorted historical warriors.

The Suffering. It's a surprisingly good horror/shooter. And I've never met one person who's heard of it.
I have! I love it... in a love to be terrified to death sort of way. Never finished the sequel though, it just wasn't right the second time around.

OT: Tail Concerto for the PS1 and Solatorobo for the Nintendo DS anyone?

Also Team Buddies for the PS1, anyone remember that? What a blast that was with friends! Such a great multiplayer mechanic and I HATE multiplayer as a rule.

Transformers Tataki, I imported it from Japan and modded my PS2 so I'd be able to play it, but from what I've seen it didn't sell very well.

Deathrow for Xbox. I still think even after all these years that if it had released after Xbox Live really took off and had online multiplayer it would've been remembered as one of the best sports games of all time.

Also, while not 'obscure' in gamer circles I have a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii, which is likely a rarity in the US considering it's still unreleased here.

As in the first Post, I also own Shadow of Destiny (But here it's called Shadow of Memories, which makes less sense.)

Also own a old copy of Monkey Hero, which was awesome. Tombi(or a)!, not so much obscure as bloody rare nowadays.
Oh, Rascal, another PS1 classic which no one really seems to know about. Glitches in most beautiful ways, too.

EDIT: I'm gonna throw Resonance of Fate/End of Eternity on here, too. Damn I loved that game.

Probably between Gotcha Force, or Killer 7 which I got for free.

Both fantastic Gamecube games might I add.

For some reason, I own a copy of The Path on PC. Its basically a retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, but with 9 reds and 9 different wolves, the majority of which are not wolves... I'm gonna play it now :D

Captain Bucky O'hare for the NES springs to mind.

I have a bunch of other old and random/obscure games on the NES/Mega drive, but I can't remember half of them lol.

A recent game, but slightly obscure is "The world ends with you" on DS. One of Square-Enix's best offerings in years, but I just came across it by chance.

That was going to be my answer, it was so bad, but so fun, I even somehow managed to unlock the steel wings permenantly, I think it was for completing their mission ten times (finishing the story countless times)

Dark Cloud, but in Australia it is more 'rare' than 'obscure'. Turok: Evolution. War of the Monsters (similar to Dark Cloud, I'd imagine).

Heart of the Alien for Sega CD. And I don't even own a Sega CD. And even if I did it wouldn't work because I don't live in the US and I have a US copy. I've heard it's not as good but I love Another World (Out of This World) so I got it anyway. One day I will play it.

Not sure... Maybe Dr. Drago's Madcap Chase, which was the first ever PC CD-ROM game I owned.

I'm gonna say "Voodoo Vince" for the original Xbox. And it still holds up as one of the best games ever made...in my humble opinion.
