Most obscure? Have to say WET. You play as a female assassin type deal who gets betrayed, stabbed and worst of all not payed.
Of course, you've probably heard of it, but it is the most obscure game I own.

From my JRPG collection probably Hoshigama, a tactical JRPG from Atlus that was a spiritual successor to Tactics Ogre and came out at the end of the PSone's life cycle. I had never heard of the game when I saw it brand new at an EBGames and bought it, and haven't heard of it since.

Sounds like a winning combination, but it was a bit too brutally hard. Not only was a soldier dying permanent like in Tactic's Ogre, but the only place they gave you to train new ones also had the same risk of permanent death. I plugged the CD into my PC emulator so save states helped a ton, but even then I got to an early-mid game point where I hit a complete wall and couldn't proceed because in previous levels I didn't bother setting up this combo thing to kill enemies and get better item drops from them, and the standard top of the line item shop equipment my army was equipped with was completely outclassed by what the enemy had. It would probably be a great game if it wasn't so god damn cruel.

Games so obscure even google can't find them. There's really no point in me telling you their names.

Although I did get minecraft back when it was old school creative mode only. Good times. :)

magical quest starring mickey mouse.
made by Capcom for SNES 1992, third game i ever played after megaman X and super mario world.
which is odd considering it has elements of both of those games.

I would also say Shadow of Memories (which is the name for Shadow of Destiny in the PAL region, as I understand it...). Err... the Chzo Mythos series (by Yahtzee), the Stanley Parable - although Extra Credits did mention it - Braid... yeah. Reasonably obscure, I guess.

Hmm, Headhunter? Run Like Hell? Illbleed? I've got a lot of weird stuff I picked up at yard sales and flea markets and stuff for cheap.

I know it's not supposed to be an obscure game, but I don't know anybody who's got it... Master of Orion 2. A freaking great game. I played it at least 500 hours or more.
Loved MOO2. And MOO1 for that matter.
And I always loved saying "Moo" :D (ok, that's juvenile, I know).
I too find it AMOOsing.

Either Gauntlet Legends for my Dreamcast or Munch's Odyssey for Xbox. The former because not many people play Dreamcast anymore, the latter because not many people stuck through the Abe's series long enough to get this far.

Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy for PS2. I'm surprised a third-person shooter about a guy who could used telekinesis, pyrokinesis, and mind control to kill enemies wasn't more popular, but I just never heard anyone talk about it. I've also yet to beat it, which is a shame.

I have no idea if this game is considered obscure, but i own the game Breakdown for xbox. It was an amazing and extremely underrated game in my opinion.

I've got Adventures of Tom Sawyer on the NES, as well as Knight Rider and Back to the Future. Deja Vu is another oddball NES game I have now.

I have Ford vs Chevy on Xbox, which is a rather obscure budget racing game which is fairly decent.

That would probably be [a href="http://www.mobygames.com/game/shadoworlds"]ShadoWorlds[/a]. It was pretty awesome at the time. Moody, creepy. I never managed to finish it because I would get stuck in a corridor and never found out how to proceed.
I tried looking for walkthroughs on the net, but it's so obscure and old, there don't seem to be any.

I think it was called Magic Castle, a game on the Apple //c where you had to get pieces of armor and avoid these big worms that would try to eat you but you could put them to sleep with a limited supply of roses. The game also had a level editor. I have never met anyone who knows about this game.
