What is the most one sided fight you had in a game

For me in final fantasy tactics
it was when i had to fight 11 level 30 monks..my highest on the field was 29 and you can only deploy 5 guys...needless to say i got the shit punched out of me
so whats yours?

well, the most one-sided in my favor was easily the first fight with Malak in KotOR 1 where
despite beating Malak like a red-headed, paraplegic stepchild, Bastilla somehow finds it necessary to sacrifice herself so you can "escape" from Malak
.

as for most one-sided fight in the opponent's favor, excluding "supposed to lose" fights, the one you mentioned is probably the best example i can think of.

Me, alone versus a yao guai in fallout 3.

My character was named chuck norris, looked like chuck norris and was insanely powerful and was armed only with a powerfist.

I won. I was chuck norris, what did you expect?

I somehow always manage to break my game in that almost every enemy is easily beaten. I don't even do it on purpose. I beat the archdemon, on nightmare, with just my character, no party and no huge spells.

Suffice to say that happens quite often. And then I spend the rest of the day looking for harder difficulty mods.

I guess it was when I had to fight 5 black necromorphs in Dead Space 2 in a tight space with the necros spawning pretty fast. Oh, and I had like one stasis and about seven rounds of ammo in total.

I was once in a one sided fight, it was in Prototype. It consisted of Alex Mercer fighting anything but a huge number of tanks.

I do enjoy that game....

In almost RPG I've played theyre is always at least one boss battle that I will run into where I feel like I have a good chance of winning but then get dominated horribly and make me rage quit

Grandia III is the most recent I can remember

Mega Man 2. Fighting anything after acquiring Metal Blade.

Or, and this is a stretch, throwing my PS2 controller against the coffee table while playing Devil May Cry 3.

As far as supposed to lose fights go, I have to say the Bai Hu recruitment quest in Granado Espada.. I had the best armor in the game with a maxed out tank and that guy just does a 500k dmg kick on me^^
other than that .. well my team once played 0:24 in League of Legends..

Also in Final Fantasy Tactics: That one battle with chocobos and pigs in the wild. There's something like 3 or 4 chocobos, and what color they are is randomly determined. Most of the time you'll get a few black and red ones. In which case you're screwed.

The only solution is to level grind like nuts, or hope that you'll only get yellow ones (Which is what happened to me. One black, two yellow, and two pigs).

Spider Man 2, when you fight Mysterio in the store. He's talking all big and has 6 full health bars, he goes down in hit.

I remember playing my first ever round of Command & Conquer 3 online. This was after everyone had already figured out the #1 trick to winning... except me.

I started playing the game as if I were facing a computer. Y'know, build some defenses, build some structures, have a couple guys out scouting.

After not even like 30 seconds of play, the enemy was knocking down my door with a giant army of tanks with a constant stream following right behind that army. At first I thought the guy was cheating. I actually quit the game and reported the guy. And then I started watching C&CTV, the online monthly web series with C&C-related stories including the top 5 best matches.

Upon watching said "best matches" I realized that the strategy behind winning that game was based entirely around building like 100 tiberium refineries early on in the game and then building 100 war factories to pump out thousands of tanks. It's extremely unfair since going against tanks and structures, the tanks' weapons succeed, and against infantry you can just run them over. The game was heavily unbalanced to say the least.

I people have obviously never played Demon's Souls. Every enemy ever past level 1-2 can kill you in less than 5 shots.

Assassin's Creed 2 endfight against Rodriego Borgia.

As Yahtzee described it, "A punch-up with a fat bloke"

Same thing happened to me, except I was level 2, still only armed with the BB gun and my unarmored vault suit, it was also a Deathclaw not a Yao Guai (I didn't even know what it was at the time, and I have never encountered another one since). Needless to say I got turned into darkish red confetti in about 3 nanoseconds.

In Baldur's Gate II, it is possible to inadvertently run into a ridiculously difficult fight shortly after the start of the game by opening the wrong door in the bridge district. You fight against six or so enemies that are of a stupidly high level, and cannot leave until you kill them all. Bear in mind you might be as low as level eight at that point. Now, if you do manage to beat them you get a really nice item known as the Staff of the Magi, but its very unlikely you'll beat them if you run into them early on.
