Yes I agree. I had so much fun with that thing. However my favourite original weapon goes what one of the art designers of Rage showed me was going to be in the game. A bee gun which shoots honey on to people at which point you release the bees to sting people to death. I still wish they'd have kept that thing in the game.

Why the FUCK would they remove something that fucking awesome.

It would have still be in it but the art designer I was talking too got fired and so they had to remove all of his ideas from the game, including the bee gun. Really unfortunate.

Back in the days of the Ultra 64, Perfect Dark had the most inventive idea:

The laptop gun. It could turn into an ok machine gun but also could be deployed as an auto-targeting turret. I loved it because it seemed feasible (ok maybe not feasible but at least plausible) to create a gadget like that in real life.
