Many of the weapons in the Worms-Games, like the "rocket-sheep"-thing you were ble to steer at your enemies, also, I agree with most people here, Ratchet and Clank-wepons gogogo!
The L209 LAARK (rocket launcher) from Resistance: Fall of Man. In the original, the secondary fire would literally stop the rocket in mid-air, and it would just hover there. While it was stopped, you could point it to a new destination with a laser attached to the front of the gun. It sounds over powered, but it took a lot to master that mechanic. Great gun if I've ever known one, and definitely original.
The Injector from Time Splitters Future Perfect. Come on it shot needles that made you inflate and eventually explode from internal pressure causing splash damage to everybody near you. Now that was a cool weapon.
To bad I'm the type that can take all this "suggetions" and later on bring them to reality.... After all the ultimate weapons already exists; Your minds in combination with your imagination (can't get it, don't bother) and a gauntlet (yes a gauntlet + magneto somewhere down the line....) BBBBWWWUUUUUAAAHHHH!!!!
i think the crowbar from the half life series is the most original. i mean, what other game has a logo that looks like a crude version of an arm holding a crowbar...?
