you'll have to congratulate me then for many times ive shot backwards and successfully hit the racer behind me, and on numerous of occasions it actually helped win some races in my time, i would agree its hard to use at first, but its not the MOST pethetic, i could think of a few, like the handguns (excluding the maginum)in COD W@W, try using those in Nazi Zombies for example.

the Colt pistol in WAW is in my opinion thrice as good as the magnum. the magnum aims like shit, in a game where the guns aimed like they had laser scopes/resident evil syndrome.

The hammer in ninja gaiden, like you'd put the starting sword away to use that. The nunchuks were ok against bats/ghosts etc. The unlaboured flawlessness (right name? Ive not played in years...) was good at poking and for air combos on bosses but the hammer just licked balls. Starting sword was all you ever needed... and the bow.
Dont get me started on why he didn't have a rifle instead, must be a japanese thing.

Zero suit Samus's stun gun in SSBB.

Its range is quite frankly horrible, it does 1 or maybe 2 damage when fully charged and is easy beaten by almost every other ranged wep in the game. Even lucas's PK freeze.

Don't diss the poke, man. I've poked people to their deaths! The Pmm from Stalker. It takes 6 shots to kill someone on the lowest difficulty. In a realistic game.

I have about 32 kills under my belt thanks to prod.

Hehe. I always customize the damage that prod does to max. No weapon in worms is ever useless because you can customize it. I say if you are that close range on an enemy then you may as well be able to KO them. And prod is cool.

Objectively worse than the .32 revolver. Even slightly worse than the BB gun too (equal damage but worse accuracy).

Just read my other posts on what I've said about the poke. In all fairness there are worse weapons, I just can't think of any at the moment. Possibly the dual wield pistols in Devil May Cry, they really do nothing atall

Anyway, kinda surprised this hasn't come up yet but the Klobb in Goldeneye. I'd sooner slap em than attempt to use that waste of space weapon.

But you really hurt the walls and snowbanks around the guy you're shooting at.

My money's with the Sawn-Off Shotgun from Fallout 3. Two rounds before a reload, and a range of as far as you can throw a Raider? Fallout 3's guns are really getting a bashing - are the only good guns in it the Hunting Rifle and Magnum?

Just the generic starting pistol you recieve on the first level of everygame that involves shooting others.

Plenty of exceptions to this - Unreal and UT99 spring to mind as their starting pistols were solid middle-of-the-range weapons. After you got all the upgrades, many players considered Unreal's starting pistol their favorite weapon.

I actually used the 10mm SMG from FO3 to kill a Behemoth. It took about five minutes.
