Honestly I kind of respect his persistence.

Got to admire his persistance if not his intelligence.
Indeed. Instead of giving up the guy is fighting for his cause, no matter how moronic and facepalm worthy said cause is.

That being said, he's almost definitely using a key gen. There's no way someone would be stupid enough to buy multiple copies of a game just to keep trolling when key gens are so easy to get.

Seriously, I don't think that anyone is stupid enough to buy the same game 17 times. There's no doubt in my mind that he's getting the game for free.
Never EVER underestimate human stupidity. As soon as you find a level of stupidity where you're sure no one could ever be that stupid, you'll find someone who is either that stupid or 10+x as stupid.

Any Escapist who's been around for a while will know this name: _oo__oo_.
Ah, good ol' _oo_oo_.
I still owe him a kick to his dingleberries as one of his threads got me a warning for derailing.

OT: ...OK, spending $400 dollars just that is a bit obsessive.
Well, it's his loss in the end. He'll eventually look at his bank account and exploits and think "...Fuck. If I hadn't spent so much money to troll, I would have a couple of friends now. ...And a house, not some bed-roll under a bridge somewhere."

There are funny trolls, and then just the stupid ones, Buying the same game 17 times, That really is just kind of... odd to say the least.
As for trolls i've seen, only people who say "First!" all of the time and spambots, so not really any of the funny ones.

An old co-worker got permabanned from Warcraft 3 for getting drunk and loudly questioning an 8 year old's sexuality and claiming that he was his true father. He bought a second copy of it (but got the battle chest this time around). But 17 copies? Isn't /b/ enough for him?
What was an 8 year old doing on WC3 and how could you get banned for talking ridiculous things on wc3. Was it on vent or something? I don't know, I feel if all a ban took was getting drunk and saying bizarre head-warpingly disturbing things I would've been banned long ago.

Wasn't there some guy on YouTube who made about fifteen different accounts (they all got safety banned) and kept on feeding the trolls, to the point that he ended up trolling all the other trolls?

I think this level of pettiness is just awesome.

I have never cared about anything that much in my life.

A few nasties, but really, to keep going? Whoa!

how many keygens work online? if he has a keygen and used them online then he is about to get a legal slap in the face.
NO game developer would allow a generated key to work online. They use an algorithm for confirmation at installation which can be reverse engineered, but have their own bank of actual keys usable for online play. The chance of a generated key being one of these is preposterously slim.

Wow, someone is devoted to trolling. I can't think of any examples to match that guy for persistence.

The CONJOPI troll(s) on Youtube seems to be dedicated to getting every semi-popular channel suspended. Not only that but they have spawned a whole new breed of copy cat trolls.

Whatever, I'm tired of talking about trolls. Human stupidity at its finest, here on the wonderful internet.

Blizzard is fairly serious and strict when someone takes the time to report you. And he said 8, could've been 12, 14, 26, or anywhere in between. However, I see no reason to doubt the other part of the story sine he did have to buy a second copy of WC3

Actually, he does claim that we will stop if the server admins denounce atheism and unban all of his 17 serial keys...

He imagines himself as some sort of crusader christian, denouncing atheism and "killing unbelievers"...
well this does seem to be a reacurring theme...

seriously though 17 times? that means he could have bought 17 other games WHAT THE FUCK

I'd be mad if I wasn't so impressed. He's probably just a rich kid with nothing better to do though. I don't know if that game has dedicated servers but if it doesn't I'm sure by the time all the reports get processed through red tape he still enjoys the game for a month or two.

Pretty funny.
