I believe this has not been mentioned yet.

Whichever Sith lord that Revan and Malak found on the outer reaches of the galaxy, who caused then to turn to the dark side, seek out the Star Forge, and almost destroy the galaxy, all while just sitting back and watching, if I knew who it was, I'd give him the most awesome medal ever.

He can destroy entire planets... but he got his ass kicked by a broken jedi by the third round.

Anakin coud be the strongest if it was for the fact he lost all limbs (or most. i forgot)

Hmn so Darth Nihilus for the fact he can blow up a planet.
He didn't blow up a planet.. he went near it and ate the life force of every living thing on the planet. He could kill people just with his presence

I'll throw in Exar Kun -
The guy was a Jedi padawan, who got arrogant and wanted to learn forbidden things, so his master takes him on in duel, and get's his ass kicked. Exar then leaves, and gathers whole lot of mandalorians, massassi and padawans around him, effectively kicking the whole Jedi order over (Including but not limited to walking in the council chamber on coruscant and throwing the chancellor of his vessel, and blowing up the Star system with the Jedi library on). So all remaining jedi, a couple of thousands gather, and light the Planet exar kun is on, on fire. He's not concerned, survives, and comes back some 4000 years later, to take over one of luke sky walkers disciples, to steal a superweapon, blowing a few peaceful planets up in the process, and it's hinted, his spirit might still be alive today.

Also, Admiral thrawn, the chuck norris of star wars :p

Exar Kun. Blowing up planets with a giant battle station? child's play. blowing up planets through sheer force of will? pffft ametuers. Causing entire star clusters to go supernova with a wave of your hand? now you understand the true power of the dark side! IT took the combined power of the entire jedi order and the republic fleet to kill this one man. The Jedi glassed Yavin IV, but, with a single thought, Kun had killed the entire population of the planet, and used their life-force to preserve his spirit from the ensuing holocaust. And four thousand years later, as a disembodied Force-ghost he was able to defeat Luke Skywalker in a force-duel, rip his soul from his body, and atempted to take it for his own. He did this wile mind controlling several other Jedi, and had he been successful he would have regained all his former powers plus all of Luke's. Plus the guy invented the double-bladed Lightsaber, how awesome is that?

It's stranger actually, how an old geezer, or a padawan gone rogue are usually enough to push the whole jedi order to the brink of extinction :p

Yoda because so far he's the only jedi to die of old age. Everyone else is either killed or how they died hasn't been reviled.

Maybe the true sith emperor. You know the guy that ruled over the sith in the deep space and was the one turning Revan and Malak to the dark side.

exar kun for this, why was already explained but aprently he was used as kind of the boogyman before the fall of the jedi order(the one shown in the movies)

anakin as a jedi, being sith was his extended puberty and he was kinda like a star athlete who got all his bones broken and nerves severed and still kicked major ass. Darth Vader is essentially a stump without arms or legs

Sorry, but Sideous was the most powerful Sith Lord in galactic history. They simply didn't have the technology to 'show it off' in the films.

But my favourite? Revan hands down. I loved his story and just thought he was badass, with Maul a close second and Malak third.

Jedi-wise... I never really liked the Jedi. Yoda was awesome, and I guess... Would Revan fit into this category? Yes, I like to believe he would.

My favourite Sith Lord AND Jedi Knight is Revan.
I'm sorry, but how is a geezer that lost to mace windu, and later on to a quadruple amputee, the most powerful sith in history? He was a good politician, much like Revan was a good General, but neither were particulary powerful, force-wise.
