So I finally got around to watching Drag Me to Hell...and I hated it.

BUT IT'S SO EFFING GOOD

It's like a slap in the face followed by a bowl of strawberry ice cream, and that's what blows me away.

Jarhead [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jarhead_%28film%29], I just saw it recently and it was amazing. It had Drama, Comedy, and curiously little action. Real introspective piece really since I myself intend to join the military or hopefully get accepted to a Service Academy. Damn near made me start crying near the end.

The three best movies of the summer; Inception, Scott Pilgrim v.s the World and Toy Story 3. Those were the last films to blow me away. Besides that I also watched District 9 for the first time last week which was also awesome. Sorry I mentioned so many there...
Ninja, ninja...and ninja. Touche salesman. *Applause*

This may be cheating, 'cause it's not a film, but..Gurren Lagann. All of it.
Kamina, redefining GAR even in death.
You're my new favorite person.
Hurray a friend, although you will proberly start resenting me when I tell you I did not get around to watching part 2 (after time skip) as I saw a massive spoiler and it threw me off abit. I need to finish it... along with Soul Eater (which I also know the ending for and am quite literally dragging myself there as a sort of debt to the awesome times that came before). Still, loved the first half and am currently collecting the manga, up to volume 4 woooo!

I just cant help blindly following manly characters, Might Guy & Rock Lee are my idols, Kamina was just everything a leader should be and dont even get me started on Seijuro Shin.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!

Soul Eater's manga is way better than the anime, IMHO.

And, that's okay, you can still get most of the Gurren Lagann experience without watching the timeskip. Though, I will say that you're missing out. It's just so epic. So epic.

I have to say Cube. The way nothing is revealed has kept it at the back mind since I saw it a week ago. That, and the fact it can be interpreted in so many different ways.

You seem like a trust worthy fellow so i'll start it up again tommorrow and let ya know how it goes. I do have the first 2 volumes of Soul Eater but it tri quarterly I think so its taking ages to come out, I think I saw volume 4 at the Thought Bubble the other week but was to poor at the time to pick it up.

I'm going with <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.247197-2-50-Reviews-Stay-2005>Stay.

It didn't get good reviews, but it left me really dumbfounded after I watched it. Ended up watching it again right after so that I could figure it out.

I recently saw Heat after I picked it up on special. That was a great move, Al Pacino was hilarious.

Scott Pilgrim.

When I walked INTO the theater, I just kept thinking about how it could never stand up to all the praise people gave it and how it was a lame attempt to make money off nerds.

When I walked [i/]out[/i] of the theater, I just stood there for a moment and thought "I have no idea what I just watched....... But it kicked ass."

Well, I recently saw the original Star Wars trilogy (episodes 4, 5, and 6) for the very first time in the last month. Those blew me away.

Yeah, I know. I call myself a "nerd", but for all these years I'd never seen the original Star Wars >_>;

Most recent? Well, I just watched the Pianist for the first time today. That was pretty mindblowing. Especially when I found out that it was based on the life of a real person. Someone actually went through that and came out alive. That in itself is pretty amazing.
