Third place might be Hot Fuzz. I still notice tiny little details that never occurred before in that one.
Me too- an excellent watch, Hot Fuzz.

I reckon I've watched Boondock Saints and Snatch each about a hundred times, and The Big Lebowski about forty times. What happens is I get into a contract or stretch of a project, and I really like consistency in my day routine at those times... it really just becomes background noise (except for the cool bits, I always break for the cool bits).

I dont know why, but for some reason, A Knight's Tale is a movie I can watch over and over again. I should add that I dont usually enjoy watching movies outside of a theater, but this movie used to play on Comedy Central alot, and I always enjoyed it and actually paid attention.
Wow, I thought I was the only one who really enjoyed this movie. Glad to see I have a buddy.

I agree with so many in this thread so I'll try to avoid repeating.

Tombstone
Boogie Nights
Despicable Me
John Wick
Her
Zac and Miri Make a Porno (also Clerks 1 & 2)

Some I like:
The Naked Gun Trilogy
Rush Hour I & II and The Fifth Element too (because I'm evil and want everyone to watch Chris Tucker)
Big Lebowski is a good one too.
Ol' Arnie films like Total Recall (RoboCop must be mentioned with this one), Predator, Commando, and Running Man. T2 has a kid in it which will eventually drive people nuts after a bunch of views.

I rarely rewatch movies myself because I usually remember them too well for too long.

There aren't many movies that I'm willing to watch over and over again but there is one that I am always up to watching:

The Punisher: War Zone (ie: the best Marvel film made)

Others that I'll watch a bunch:

AIRPLANE!
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
Batman: Under the Red Hood
Captain America: Civil War
Captain America: The First Avenger
Clerks
Cradle of Fear
Deadpool
Dracula: Dead and Loving It
Monty Python: Meaning of Life
Nightmare Before Christmas
Scott Pilgrim vs The World
Spaceballs
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)
The Voices

I guess there are others...I need to watch more movies and I need to watch these more often.

Although I have a decent amount of stuff on Blu-ray, I guess I'm going to limit my choices to five:

Fight Club
Zodiac
Dredd
Mystery Team
The Man From Earth

Remus

The Equalizer
The 5th Element
Shoot Em Up
The Time Machine
All Indiana Jones pre Crystal Skulls
Terminator 2
Mad Max: Fury Road
Blade
Centurion
Silent Hill
The Insider
Hellraiser 1, 2, and Bloodlines
Equilibrium
The Crow
Sleepy Hollow
Batman, Batman Returns (love me some Burton)

I'm sure there are others but these are the ones off the top of my head that if I see them channel surfing, I have to watch them.

The 5th Element.

Style and one liners can supplant substance, in lieu of a plot. Be truthful to yourself .... you all want the future to be that level of gaudy, ultra-consumerist and fabulous.

Also, The Godfather 2.... as a flipside to this.

Apocalypse Now.

Escape from New York/L.A. (say what you like, I enjoy L.A.)

Blade Runner (always Blade Runner)

Back to the Future trilogy.

Two Hands.

The Dish.

... and True Lies. That is a deceptively smart movie... back when James Cameron was good. Also a movie that showed how awesome Jamie Lee Curtis is. She did her own stuntwork in the film.

13th Warrior

Starship Troopers

Star Trek: First Contact

Mad Max: Fury Road

Every MST3K ever, with longer breaks with the Joel episodes

The Dark Knight

Zootopia

Star Wars, and really any of them if for no other reason than laugh value

I agree, this is a great film. Jamie Lee Curtis was also wonderfully easy on the eyes in this film- this and A Fish Called Wanda and Fierce Creatures... very sexy.

Back to the Future and Coming to America.

Of all my favourite movies these are the two that could be on at any time of day and I'd watch 'm.

I don't understand why True Lies isn't on Blu-ray. It was a commercial hit and fairly recent. I've seen it so many times on TV, but I might again if it were released on BD.
Along with The Abyss I've been wondering the same thing for a while now. Every one of Cameron's movies are on blu-ray except these two and I don't get it.

These are the ones I just never get tired of, even though I've probably watched them all a hundred times each...

Alien
Aliens
The Thing (1982)
Predator
The Terminator
Terminator 2: Judgment Day
True Lies
The Rock
Die Hard
Saving Private Ryan
Hot Fuzz
Starship Troopers
Independence Day
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Apparently a bunch of supplemental material has already been shot for the True Lies blu-ray, and it was supposed to come out summer last year. No idea why it got shelved.

The good news is that Cameron confirmed there's a Blu-Ray of The Abyss coming sometime next year while he was doing promotions for the 30th anniversary Aliens release, so hopefully True Lies won't be too far behind it.

I hope it includes the theatrical version. I've never been too keen on the extended edition.

I like a lot of the extra time we get to spend with the Deep Core crew... but I don't particularly care for the extended ending. Cameron's extended versions tend to be kind of a mixed bag. The only one of his movies that I think is genuinely better in the extended cut is Aliens, but I might be biased on that one.

His special edition releases usually come with both editions though, so I wouldn't be surprised if we got both versions.

One of the things I like about The Abyss is that it's very intimate, but with the special edition it's constantly cutting back to global events. And yeah, the ending is crap. 'We were going to destroy each and every human on this planet, but we won't cuz these two love eachother.' Fuck you aliens, coming to our planet and lecturing us!?

Captain America: The Winter Soldier
-probably the benchmark for superhero action, and a damn good spy thriller on top of that.

Dredd
-one of the tightest shot and set action movies in recent memory: exemplified by the single word "Incendiary".

The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
-a charming throwback to 60's era spy fiction.

Sherlock Holmes (RDJ)
-nice to see a capable Watson and a fun, drug addled Holmes.

Oscar
-one of Stallone's lesser known movies, but recommended for anyone who loves a good bit of farce.

Aliens
-THE action movie. Perfect in every way.
