Ooh, I'd probably have to hand that one to the Hamster Dance:

...Or perhaps this bewildering oddity:

The man's a lyrical wizard. I think he was responding to this:

Then there's this silly little tune I heard in an episode of bad Lads' Army:

I can't really decide, but they're all great ear worms.

Currently it's Shatter Me by Lindsey Sterling and Lzzy Hale on vocals. Really can't go wrong with Lindsey's Violin skills and Hale's vocal chops mixed together. Damn you Barnes and Noble for playing good music over the speakers! DAMN YOU TO HELL!

I'd say Word Crimes by Wierd Al, and it's so great, because Blurred Lines were super catchy but with awful lyrics, and now I have the same catchy song but with great lyrics :D

I recently heard about a band called the Original Rabbit Foot Spasm Band. Looked them up, because with that name how could you not. Didn't know I was expecting, but it sure as hell wasn't 7-piece rhythm-and-blues. And now I can't stop listening to them.

Junior Senior - Move Your Feet [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPlQpGeTbIE]

Had this stuck in my head for about a week after hearing it on some AMV someone made. Heck...I got in trouble for this song on another forum. I posted it and got cyberslapped by someone who said it was in obscurity for over a decade and he wanted to keep it that way.

I wonder how he'll react that I may have to use this song on a Top 10 list I have planned?

All apparently done in one take as well, so she has to keep running off screen and getting changed.

...

Sorta want her as a GF, then we can break up and she'd sing a catchy song about it afterwards.

I'm not usually one for this kind of music, but by god has it gotten in my head

edit: And now that I've posted it I'm replaying it on this thread. Thanks Obama.

Despite the fact that I usually hate this kind of country music(Read: Fake country music) I really like this song and its catchy as hell to me.

I'm fairly impressed that both Fighting Trousers and Move your Feet have already been posted.
Congratulations Escapist, you live.

For now.

But I gotta say, I've had Cuban Pete stuck in my head for the last few days, and I ended up learning all of the Modern Major General's song on a particularly long plane journey.

Well, I originally stumbled upon it years ago in some fucking mental bar in China (stuff like this is played over the speakers at "cool" night clubs and in shopping malls surprisingly often), but I was reminded of it again fairly recently and went looking for it.

You know what? It's not annoying. It really has withstood the test of time.

Seconding this. I also prefer "Tacky" (based off "Happy") over the original.

I dare anyone to listen to this for any longer than 2 minutes (from the brilliant Archer):
