What's the most selfish thing you've ever done?

For me it's stealing someone's glasses, hiding them, the person realising and me 'finding' them hoping to get a reward.

It failed, i was punished.
But then again i was 5.
Plus i stole money from my parents when i was about 8.

But that's a different story...

So, what's been your most selfish moment?

Probably something like not sharing the candy I was supposed to share with my brother.
I'm a nice person.

I stole more cookies than my fair share from the jar.

...I'm a monster...

My mom was going to bring me to the shop and she couldn't because my gran had to go to hospital. She had a massive lung infection and her passing away was unavoidable. It was all the anger, scaredness and sadness that made me basically demand my mom to bring me to the shop. She even paid for most of it. I still regret that till this day. :(

Ouch. I've had many a selfish act but many selfless acts to counter-balance those I'll start by stating.

Anyway the top one to come to mind would be manipulating 'my friends' in certain ways so that I come out with an advantage. Yes that sounds pretty vague but I can think of a few events where-by I've told a few porky-pies to bring benefit my way while making someone else suffer. All the while playing the innocent part and shadowing the blame on an entirely unrelated party.

The majority of these situations I have in-fact never been found out to be the person who puts people in the positions they find themselves in.

Like, a COOKIE MONSTER? AHAHAHA. HEhe. Heh.

OT: I've passed opportunities of giving my seat to a girl because I just didn't feel like it. I usually do it, but, recently, I'm like "the hell with them".

Why give your seat up for a girl? They have legs like the rest of humanity.

OT: ...I just generally don't help people. Nothing specific to take that title comes to mind.

I was taught it was the chivalrous thing to do, and I like to call myself a gentleman. I haven't really asked myself the "why" of that though, it just seems like a nice thing to do.

Probably stealing another mans girlfriend...
Not sure if Brannigan reference...

I've also attempted to yoink about $85 worth from someone who lent me a suitcase. They left it in the suitcase, so I'd figured they'd forgotten about it. Guess what they asked for when I returned it.

Lol, that made me laugh.

Well, recently, I made a batch of pilsburry crecents. Instead of just baking them, I like to make a simple cinnamon/sugar glaze that I put on the inside of the crecents before I roll them up. Anyway, I baked them one day when I was alone. I took them out of the oven and drizzled a simple icing I made. There were 8 rolls and 4 members of my family including me. So, I ate two right there, and they were so delicious that I kept eating more and couldn't stop. Then, when there were only four more, I didn't want my family to come home and think I was a pig, so I ate the rest of them in one sitting. I disposed of the evidence and felt sick to my stomach very soon after.

Ruined a person's life. Now normally I wouldn't be so harsh but this guy had bullied me for two years to big himself up.

I decided I had enough. Upper School ended and 6th form began. I changed college and proceeded to be the WORST person ever for 2 months til he caught on. As a believer of Karma, I failed my AS-Levels because of this. Never again will I stoop low.

Stealing the same girl from three different guys. Not too proud about that.

I tried to commit suicide once, that's about as selfish as it gets (other than succeeding at a suicide attempt)

Well, once I convinced my friend to trade me her holographic Chansey for my common Machop and Rattata Pokemon cards. She wasn't very knowledgeable in the subject, so I assured her that she was getting a good deal because "hey, two cards are better than one!" She immediately believed me. I don't feel bad about it really, I mean c'mon, I was like 8! :p
