Shooting down half the planes in Ace Combat 04 in the "you're supposed to retreat" battle. So hard, but it feels so satisfying to kill planes that are supposed to be so good they're invincible.

When I have my balls to the wall fighting off the Necron's honor guard with my meager starting forces; Commander almost dead, resources being used reinforcing squads faster than they're coming in... it just encaptures all of my mind's function, demanding total attention or I -will- lose, and hard.

To pull through that for an eventual win is very satisfying.
