With other threads about super powers popping up on occasions I get to thinking about if a superpower is really useful in just about any situation. No matter where you are. No matter what you're doing.

I personally think having the ability to be aware of your surroundings completely at all times is the most useful ability in the world... If you can keep track of it all in your head.

Thoughts?

The ability to create money whenever you wanted. It's the world's greatest problem solver. And contrary to popular belief, I think it can buy happiness. At least for someone with very little need for social interaction, such as myself.

Invincibility is probably the most useful

It would make that awareness superpower useless because you wouldn't have to care about anything dangerous :p

Nice power OP. Mine would be the power to develop an extra 2 hours a day that only I could use.
Technology and stuff around me would work fine, but the world would be devoid of all other life for those two hours. The purpose would be for 2 hours of gaming or getting work done so that it doesn't impinge on what I want to be doing or just sleeping because I sure as hell don't get enough now with 24 hours.

Teleportation. Instead of walking the standard kilometer to my not-so-local bus stop, in the snow, uphill, I could just teleport wherever I want to go...

And I would so abuse it.

To know every possible fact in the universe and be able to access it instantly. It may sound mundane but imagine it. You would know where to stand to avoid all bullets, how to cure your team mate's disease, how to free slaves from their super high security locks using only a toothbrush, how to tame a pod of whales to do your bidding... it is pretty much unlimited.

I know knowing the dimensions of every facet of your room, the chemical makeup of the wallpaper and the entire history leading up to that particular stitch used on your curtains and every other fact in the universe would probably send you insane but hey, who doesnt like an insane superhero?

Easily a power that mimics QS and QL for real life.

Ever wanted to try something, but were afraid of the potential for it to go bad?

Now you can, with no worries!

Money is worthless, its just paper (or metals when talking about coins) but none the less that power is junk especially if it only pops out a certain form of money. Think about a power that secretes gold nuggets or some other valuable ore and it would work...until the world is filled with your armpit gold and has no need for it, in which case it too is invaluable.

The ability to fully control 10 dimensions... If you can control space, time, timeprobability, forming of universes and gravity, what can't you do? You'd basically have every superpower, even the ones you can't think of...

Except you'd ruin the economy if you weren't careful.

[sub]Fuck, double post. I swear, I meant to edit my previous post![/sub]
Yes but could you simply make money from several countries so you only do a little bit of screwing up to their respected economies?

The power to make everyone instantly forgive you.

Sure, it's not as flashy as telekinesis or flying or what have you, but in terms of human interaction, you really can do anything.

Want to fly somewhere? Barge onto the flight! They'll forgive you.

Want some money? Steal it off some guy! They'll forgive you.

Feeling mischievous? Walk down the street punching people! And they'll forgive you.
Sir you think so tame!
If a guy like me ever got the ability to instantly make someone forgive him................well bad things would happen to good people but since I don't have any guilt because no one cares I'd get away with it right?

well I think something like Forge from x-men power,"Forge can intuitively create almost any device imaginable using his mutant ability".
Teleportation build a machine, invincible make a force shield.
It's the perfect power.

I've always considered super-speed (And reflexes along with it) to be the best.
For example: Someone shoots you. If you have the kind of speed/reflexes I'm talking about, you wouldn't have to do anything until you felt the pressure of the bullet, then you'd just move out of it's way before it caused any damage. You could move fast enough that people can't see you, and the speed of any punches/kicks/crazy charges would increase the impact power, causing more damage to your enemies.
You'd probably be able to run on water, too. Which is 2 steps above Jesus (Walking < Jogging < Running).

Edit: Slightly related, but couldn't Usain Bolt be the world's most annoying guy if he wanted? Like, just slap you and run away, faster than anyone could keep up?

yeah but if you "printed" too much money there would be massive inflation in prices and the value of money would go down

baisicly massive countrywide depresion

in germany after WW2 (i think) they printed loads of money to pay of their war debts

the result of this ment that the shopkeepers raised their prices to compenstate for the amount of money going around, this ment that the value of the money went down, so people were paid with more money, which m,ade the costs of food go up

look it up its pretty intresting

Telekinesis

I say this solely due to playing Bioshock 2 multiplayer.

About the only thing you cant do with that plasmid is remove the enemies spine. and hell, why bother? theres thousands of telekinetic alternatives
