baisicly massive countrywide depresion

in germany after WW2 (i think) they printed loads of money to pay of their war debts

the result of this ment that the shopkeepers raised their prices to compenstate for the amount of money going around, this ment that the value of the money went down, so people were paid with more money, which m,ade the costs of food go up
Very close. it was in fact after WW1 that this occurred. There were stories where families would wallpaper the inside of their houses with banknotes, solely because it was worth sod all.

A famous cartoon of the time shows how a thief stole the metal basket holding all of someones money, because it was worth more.

And it is very interesting

The ability to create and destroy matter. My reasoning is that I can declare myself a god at that point.

And from what I understand, this is currently impossible.

The ability to change the odds of something happening or not happening. That would come in handy all the time for me.

Remember that gun from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy? (The film, I've not read the book) The one that forces the target to see your point of view? I want that ability.

Invincibility is probably the most useful

It would make that awareness superpower useless because you wouldn't have to care about anything dangerous :p
What if they buried you?

Or set you in concrete and chucked you into the ocean?

Or blasted you into space?

The most useful superpower is, of course, the ability to control space and time.

Quicksave/load.
Do I win?
Please?????!
That would make life rather dull, wouldn't it.
As would any superpower I'd say. Only the fact that we can't obtain these qualities keeps them interesting at all.

But it is by far the most useful power.
Meteorite hits Earth? Load again.
Get hit by a train? Load again.
You see?

The ability to control time seems like a good one to me...need some more sleep? stop time and take a nap,get in a fight? slow down time, piss someone off? reverse time, getting a lecture for the 20,000th time? speed up time

Stopping time, if someone for example wants to kill you, stop the time and run away.
Other uses can be thought of too.

The power to make everyone instantly forgive you.

Sure, it's not as flashy as telekinesis or flying or what have you, but in terms of human interaction, you really can do anything.

Want to fly somewhere? Barge onto the flight! They'll forgive you.

Want some money? Steal it off some guy! They'll forgive you.

Feeling mischievous? Walk down the street punching people! And they'll forgive you.
You my friend, are a mad genius! I never thought of that.

OT: Time Travel without the chance of fucking up the timeline.

EDIT: Either that or Wolverine's regeneration trait.

Oh this one's easy... Omnipotence is what I would go with.

No problem that can't be solved.

Having access to the command console and a list of cheats. Out of eggs? no problem, just spawn some in. need to get somewhere in a hurry? enable no clip mode. Missing your pants? disable other peoples ability to complain about it.

It would be awesome

As im sure many people have expressed before me my opinions on super powers are torn between my desire to either A)see hot women naked, or B) save lives

hmmm, perhaps theres a power that somehow allows you to save the lives of naked women then surely that puts this conundrum to bed for all us straight men out there once and for all. letting us get on with our lives.

so...an ability to sense the distress of a fatally endangered hot naked woman!

Does the fact you're saving lives make it any less perverted?

Thought not...

I think a healing power would be the most useful in everyday life. You never get sick, you recover from wounds and broken bones quickly, you sober up quickly.

Seriously: Everyone in your apartment has the flu, your fine, you go to the bar get fucked up and break your arm, half an hour later your arm is fine and your driving home because you can blow 0.00 on a Breathalyzer.
